Their wills had converged, but the flesh remained suppressed by his firstborn power. Lynn gave them no opportunity. The instant he sensed the disturbance, he acted, trying to reclaim every one of those dewdrop-like pieces of flesh.
At the same time, however, the blood-colored phantom formed by the largest piece of flesh moved as well.

He actually broke through the suppression of the firstborn power in an instant and began competing with Lynn for the restrained flesh.

Lynn suppressed and reclaimed two-thirds of the flesh, while the remaining third was too close to the phantom. He seized it back instantly, and it surged into him.
In an instant, the blood-colored phantom grew larger once again.
Lynn grabbed Zuo Zuo and immediately put distance between himself and the phantom, confronting him in the void.
Within the transdimensional link, all the points of light had disappeared, gathering inside the Crimson Figure. Only he remained.
