After charging into the battlefield at the End of Time once again, Lynn returned coughing blood, panting, his body almost shattered. Yet fierce excitement burned in his eyes.
Because he had gained a great deal once again.
The moment he returned, he wasted no time. Forcing his battered body upright, he sat cross-legged on the ground, tore down the order of the entire dream, then manifested that fiercely burning blackfire once more.
With each battle, his understanding of the essence of Finality rose rapidly.
"I don't know if it's just my imagination, but the more I fight him, the more I feel that my fire is remarkably similar to the power that calamity gives him. They manifest differently, but there are far too many similarities."
After recreating the dream, Lynn's expression grew uncertain.
Because, in a sense, both he at this stage and that calamity were only one final step away from true Finality.
