This encounter was incomprehensible and staggering to her. Even when Lynn told her outright that he came from the distant future, that he was not the monster they had just fought, she did not believe him at all.
Because it was all simply too inconceivable. In their world, time was almost the only law that had not been damaged, yet even the Pioneers at the very pinnacle of the Time Domain dared not travel into and disrupt the established past. The backlash from such an act was great enough to kill any living being in an instant.
But after Lynn told her many things about herself, her certainty began to waver.
The sheer absurdity left her too shocked to speak.
"You must be joking! This has to be another trap, another trick!"
Her shock lasted only a moment before she gritted her teeth again, struggling and resisting fiercely.
But by then, her strength had long since been exhausted, and her body was so broken it was almost gone. She had no way to escape Lynn's grip.

She froze completely.
