Lynn was stunned.
What appeared before him was no longer his little shop, but an immense square whose end was nowhere in sight.
The sky was pitch-black, and ghostly silhouettes wandered across the square.
And high overhead.
An eyeball resembling a sun floated there, radiating a faint black glow as it watched over the entire world.
[Ding! Host, you have successfully passed the Supreme Will's screening and entered the Vision Realm.] [This is the Vision Realm Square for Region No. 900 of Abyss World No. 11. Please note: within Vision Realm Square, the Supreme Will prohibits conflicts of any kind.] [You may now use the rune on your wrist to view your information at any time. Please note: unless necessary, do not disclose your coordinates or identity in the Dark World. Otherwise, you must bear the consequences.] [Skeleton Coins are the only currency that can be transferred within the Vision Realm. The system has automatically converted 1,000 Skeleton Coins for you to bring into the Vision Realm.]
Lynn raised his translucent arm and, sure enough, saw a deep-blue eye rune on his wrist.
Lynn quickly calmed himself down.
"The Dark World really is beyond imagination. It actually developed a space for consciousnesses to interact on such an enormous scale."
The Supreme Will.
Lynn picked up on that key term.
It probably had something to do with the enormous eyeball overhead. Could this Supreme Will be the god of the Dark World?
Lynn hesitantly touched the rune on his wrist.
The very next moment, information appeared before his eyes.
[Lynn] [Race: Otherworldly Human] [Identity]: None [Resources]: 1,000 Skeleton Coins [Danger level]: Mildly dangerous.
It was very brief.
Compared with the system's lengthy panels, this one was downright bare-bones.
Lynn asked hesitantly, "System, what's your relationship with that Supreme Will? You two feel a little similar."
The system replied, "None whatsoever."
The answer was extremely simple.
Lynn shrugged and quickly scanned his surroundings.
As he understood it, this place was something like Earth's metaverse or an online game. By uploading their consciousnesses, people could learn about other places through this world whenever they wanted, wherever they were.
For a homebody like him, that was definitely the best possible channel.
"Since it's divided into different regions, Square No. 900 probably corresponds to a large area that includes Wandering Soul Alley."
Lynn thought it over.
And while Lynn was still thinking.
Suddenly.
A line of blood-red text formed from points of light appeared before his eyes.
[Identity: Informant. Broadcasting information to all beings in Square No. 900: "Battle erupts near Wandering Soul Alley once again: Witcher versus Black Knight."] [Cost to receive information: 20 Skeleton Coins]
Lynn froze.
Then he immediately noticed that many of the wandering silhouettes in the square had stopped as well.
Clearly, they had received the same transmission.
"You can even do that?"
Lynn was amazed.
If this was one of the Vision Realm's functions, it provided an instant way to turn information into money!
Without another word.
Lynn immediately clicked confirm.
[Skeleton Coins -20]
At that very instant, a pitch-black image appeared before his eyes.
Black mist billowed within the image, but the explosions echoing constantly from the distance confirmed that two beings were fighting inside it.
And the very next moment.
Two bright points of light suddenly appeared in the black mist, darting around and clashing at high speed.
"Those are..."
Lynn paused.
Then, a moment later, the image abruptly sharpened, and the swirling mist dispersed.
Two figures suddenly came into view. They were none other than the Black Knight and the Witcher, who had just visited his little shop!
Ding-
Ding-
Their gleaming foreheads flashed brightly in the image.
Lynn's expression instantly went blank.
Meanwhile, comments from one being after another drifted across the image. The displayed number of recipients beside it had already reached 2,013!
"That's right! I've seen them before. That's the Black Knight, number 171 on the Wild Hunt Ranking, and the Abyss Witcher, number 143! They're actually near Wandering Soul Alley right now?!"
"Those two have always been sworn enemies. They fought once on the Hellfire Plains two years ago."
"Wait... does anyone else think they look a little strange?"
"They both seem to be... bald?? And why are their heads shining? That's so weird!"
"This is so strange! I came to watch a fight, so why can't I take my eyes off their heads?!"
"So shiny! So shiny!"
"My titanium-alloy eyes!!"
"I don't know why they're both bald, but they seem even stronger than before!"
"Amazing!"
As Lynn stared wide-eyed, a steady stream of identical comments appeared across the image: "So shiny!"
For some reason.
Lynn suddenly felt as though he were watching a video with scrolling comments on a website back before he transmigrated.
Was even the Dark World keeping up with the times?!
Lynn quickly watched the entire feed and composed himself.
It seemed.
This really was a world of consciousness where information could be exchanged.
He had to admit.
Having a world like this certainly opened up more possibilities for development.
If he could make a name for his little shop in the Vision Realm and expand his business, selling potions or providing medical care would clearly be much easier than simply staying in that little shop!
And if even he could enter the Vision Realm.
Then his teacher ought to know about this place too.
Still, despite those thoughts.
Lynn remained cautious.
His first priority was to figure out how information was exchanged in this world. That would put him in a better position to grow his business.
Lynn's gaze returned to the ice-blue rune on his wrist.
He clicked it once.
His Vision Realm identity panel appeared before his eyes.
Experimentally, he clicked it twice in succession.
Instantly.
An entirely new panel suddenly appeared before him.
"This is..." Lynn jolted.
[Region Channel]
Then Lynn immediately saw one scrolling message after another on the screen.
That intense sense of familiarity.
Made Lynn wonder whether he had transmigrated into another world or into the world of an online game!
The sense of déjà vu was just that strong!
Frowning, Lynn quickly read through the messages from the various beings in the channel.
[Blood Doll]: "Uncles and aunties, have any of you seen my mommy? If you have, please contact me. I'll reward you handsomely." [Skeleton Demon]: Don't go near her! I'm warning everyone: she ate one of my arms last time. If I hadn't run fast enough, she would have swallowed me whole! Stay alert, everyone! [Long-Haired Ghost]: Neighbors... I'm giving everyone a serious warning. That potion shop in the alley is a total rip-off! I went there yesterday to buy a potion. Guess what I saw?! [Long-Haired Ghost]: (Terrified expression) That sicko doctor in the shop was straddling someone and dismembering them with a chainsaw, bzzz, bzzz, bzzz! I was so scared I ran away as fast as I could!
At those words, the channel suddenly sprang to life.
[Blood Doll]: Yes! Yes! It's a total rip-off! That human doctor deep-throated me yesterday! He even dug out my eyes. They still hurt! [Evil Spirit Queen]: "[Image] (Click to view)"
