Inside the great gate leading to the blood-red world, dozens of Portals opened, and the densely packed Flesh Cultists preparing to cross over looked up almost simultaneously.
They looked toward the enormous flesh monster that had been knocked back.
They stared at the sac in his mouth, which kept shrinking and expanding.
They froze.
"Huh?"
BOOOOM!!
An enormous roar erupted. The shock wave of the powerful explosion was like the detonation of a nuclear bomb. The Portals that had just opened inside the Church and in the surrounding space instantly spewed countless streams of blood and explosive slime outward like so many bursting chrysanthemums.
It was like tossing a grenade into a room, sending blasts spraying out through every window and doorway in a series of pops.
Piercing screams rang out in every direction.
The severed limbs and blood spraying out from within splattered straight across the face of the Blood Thrall inside the Barrier.

A brief, stiff silence fell.
The Blood Thrall had absolutely no idea what had happened. He had only felt a tremendous surge of energy from inside the gate. When he could not help trembling as he peered inside, he saw the spot where countless tightly packed, high-spirited troops had been preparing to march out just moments ago.
Now, all that remained was an enormous crater.
The ground looked as though it had been plowed over. Apart from dotted outlines of the troops that had been roaring so spiritedly moments before, not even a single hair remained.
The breeze whispered, and dust billowed.

His mind went blank and froze almost instantly.
