Lynn restored Sir Awen, prepared Dark Night City for the dangers ahead, and strengthened his connection to the Colossus Brain and Zuo Zuo. He led the Origins to the Dollhouse to bring back Black String Moon, then entered the fortress to see Xian Yue.

• The Matriarch restored Sir Awen’s memories from an old backup, but he no longer remembered Lynn, who welcomed him back as his big brother.
• Lynn returned to Dark Night City, where Titan Head awoke and the residents celebrated, but the Mother Tree of Desire’s consciousness remained unresponsive.
• Lynn bound the Curse-Bearer’s Sigil to Zuo Zuo, whose new control over Colossus power let her unleash a devastating blast that severed the city’s High Tower.
• Lynn trained with Zuo Zuo and used Firstborn power to harmonize with the Mother Tree’s nature divinity, while their connection through the Colossus Network also reached the Colossus Brain.
• Lynn located the Dollhouse and rallied the Matriarch, Sir Awen, Titan Head, and Brain to retrieve Miss Doll, then led the Origins through a Boundary Gate to the Black Fortress.
• Lynn demanded that the Dollhouse return Black String Moon, and Madam Doll warned him that leaving the Castle could make the power within her destroy her damaged soul.
• Lynn promised Madam Doll he would not hurt Xian Yue if he changed again, entered the cursecraft chamber, and told the suspended Xian Yue that he was back.

Lynn stopped Black String Moon’s death cycle but found she remained trapped in a belief that she belonged in death. He entered her forgotten memories and discovered her childhood of exploitation, loss, and survival, ending as she secretly traveled south in search of her mother.

• Lynn drew on an ancient power to halt Black String Moon’s life-and-death cycle, then entered her consciousness to find why she would not wake.
• Lynn followed Black String Moon’s memories and learned that she had returned to Doll Manor after his notes reminded her that she had a family who cared about her.
• Madam Doll told Sir Awen that she had found Xian Yue as a damaged doll on the shore, and Lynn broke through the wall sealing her forgotten past.
• Lynn witnessed the Hunched Old Man present the young Doll for auction, then saw her mother sell her and leave her beneath a tree with a rag doll.
• Shirley protected the silent girl in a cellar where children were enslaved, then helped her escape through a tunnel and urged her to survive.
• The girl survived alone with a puppy, hid aboard a freighter, and escaped her captors with the dog’s help and the enslaved people’s aid.
• The wounded girl reached shore, but her dog died, and she later searched a dump for it before boarding a southbound steam train to find her mother.

Lynn entered Black String Moon’s memories and gave the frightened girl a future with him instead of trying to erase her painful past. He returned to reality and reunited with Black String Moon, who remembered their promise and accepted both her past and present selves.

• Lynn watched the girl endure her father’s violence, her mother’s death, and years of abuse before becoming a celebrated doll dancer.
• The girl’s brother tortured her and used Shirley’s apparent danger to draw her into a tragedy that ended with Shirley disappearing into a storm.
• Lynn refused to erase the girl in her subconscious and created a life with her, where she grew up, became a dancer, and chose to be with him.
• Lynn and the girl built a life together, traveled and settled on a ranch, until she collapsed after poisoning herself and Lynn carried her to a hospital.
• Lynn stayed with his wife in the dream of her subconscious and resisted Sir Awen’s attempts to pull him away as her consciousness began to collapse.
• Lynn found the frightened girl in the Sea of Loss and invited her to leave the dream with him for a future, and she accepted.
• Black String Moon’s consciousness stabilized, and Sir Awen explained that Lynn had given her another choice, and Lynn later received his reward and woke in reality.
• Lynn found the repaired Cloth Doll and reunited with Black String Moon, who remembered his promise, embraced him, and said she was both the girl from the past and Miss Doll from Hell.

Lynn descended beneath the Black Fortress, discovered Raven’s ancient remains, and fused with the memories of the last Raven before escaping a collapsing Abyss. After Feather Pen was left behind, Lynn returned to Dark Night City and began developing his flesh abilities with the Colossus Brain, who recognized him as the Raven her civilization had awaited.

• Miss Doll explained that Lynn had become central to her life, and they willingly consummated their relationship.
• Lynn learned from Dollhouse that the Black Fortress had been built over a hidden presence, then descended alone into the Abyss to investigate.
• Lynn and Zuo Zuo passed through visions of Raven’s past, found Raven 071’s preserved soul in a bronze coffin, and Lynn began fusing with it.
• As Lynn relived Raven’s memories and discovered the calamity that killed him, the Abyss collapsed, and Lynn fled with Raven’s coffin lid and its contents.
• A mysterious figure who appeared as Feather Pen turned aside Lynn’s attack and told him not to look for her before the Boundary Gate closed.
• Lynn returned to Dark Night City, chose to advance his flesh abilities, and sought the Colossus Brain’s guidance.
• The Colossus Brain transferred one percent of her Authority to Lynn, whose body accepted it and revealed him as the true King and creator of the ancient genes.
