Lynn bound his Crimson Magic Array and began his internship at the Hall of the Stars, where his unorthodox treatments exposed a curse outbreak and nearly got Director Cola operated on. He was reassigned to a quiet clinic, where Miao Miao’s reality-warping curse transformed him into a cat and he uncovered evidence of the torture that shaped her powers.

• Sir Awen discovered that Lynn already had a first-stage summoning array bound to him, then helped expand it and register an invocation that passed after Zuo Zuo added an insulting description.
• Lynn started his internship at the Hall of the Stars, subdued Patient 71, and took over the understaffed minor ailments counter.
• Lynn performed a gruesome surgery to remove Essence-Devouring Worms from a Many-Eyed Demon, then examined a pregnant goblin and diagnosed a dark elf carrying eighteen curses.
• Lynn identified a curse outbreak among the hospital’s patients, helped the Night Doctors treat the infected, and unknowingly began operating on Director Cola before they recognized him.
• The Upside-Down Angel reprimanded Lynn and reassigned him to a quiet clinic, where he diagnosed Miao Miao with severe cynophobia and learned that seeing her appearance could trigger an anomaly.

Lynn helped Miao Miao face her past and found her a community willing to search for her family. After a Plague Doctor attacked him, Lynn and Black String Moon defeated Moriichi, while Lynn freed her from her contract and the city began investigating the Plague Doctors.

• Lynn helped Miao Miao recover her memories, then gave her an illusion of her mother and rallied the Night Doctors to help find her family.
• Lynn prepared a potion to help Miao Miao look human, and the Turtle King delivered Black String Moon from Doll Manor.
• A Plague Doctor named Moriichi attacked Lynn at the Punk Hotel, and Lynn used curses and Black String Moon’s threads to fight him.

Lynn adopted Miao Miao, treated strange patients, and learned about the Mechanical Church and Flesh God Cult as he prepared to investigate their war. In Curse City, he watched the Mechanical Church rout its enemies before its mechanical girl detected and wounded him.

• Lynn accepted Miao Miao as his pet under three rules, and the system rewarded him while unlocking quests tied to her family and the Plague Doctors.
• Lynn treated a lovesick Filth Slime by reshaping its body, then repaired the Wanderer after the Night Doctors beat him for threatening Lynn.
• The Wanderer explained how the Mechanical Church used the Hive, Beacons, and automated factories, and Lynn later set out with White Night for the contested city.
