Ch. 2701Grand finale (II)
Lynn fought through the Seventy-One Great Nightmare Demons to face the figure on the Throne, while the youth revealed why he had drawn his older brother into the dream and tried to force their shared release. At the end of time, Lynn faced the black-robed Lord of the End, who overpowered him and admitted that his ideals had become cold memories.
- Lynn crossed the battlefield, killed the Seventy-One Great Nightmare Demons, and confronted the figure on the Throne, who took up the bloodstained Trident.
- The youth attacked his older brother through the River of Time and demanded to know why he kept protecting Lynn and resisting release.
- The older brother revealed that he had waited through countless reincarnations and that the youth had drawn him into the dream to end their eternal torment.
- The youth let Lynn's blackfire consume him, explained that he had obscured his brother's memories to bring them to this final step, and pressed the Divine Spark between his brows.
- At the end of time, Lynn fought the black-robed Lord of the End above the ruins of Dark Night City but was overwhelmed and sent flying.
- The Lord of the End told Lynn that he had lost his heart and no longer felt the ideals he once held.
