The moment Satoru Gojo said those words, Aikawa Kaze had a bad feeling.
Ever since coming to this world, he had only gotten to know a handful of people. Almost all of them had ties to Jujutsu Society, and his acquaintances overlapped heavily with Satoru Gojo's.
No, more accurately, Satoru Gojo knew everyone he knew-and saw them regularly, at that.
His first thought was Assistant Supervisor Ijichi. After all, everyone knew Ijichi had attended Jujutsu High, so he probably had some small measure of talent for Jujutsu. His abilities were simply too weak to make the cut, which was why he had switched careers.
But that did not seem to add up.
Ever since Aikawa Kaze had discovered the pattern behind how that mark harmed people, Satoru Gojo had already checked everyone they knew. If anyone had slipped through the cracks, he should have found them long ago.
If Ijichi met the criteria, wouldn't he have told him already?
"...It's not Ijichi." Satoru Gojo fell silent for a moment before continuing, "Strictly speaking, Ijichi is already a Jujutsu Sorcerer. His cursed energy is just far too weak, and he's no good at hand-to-hand combat either, so I talked him out of pursuing it."
That made sense. Assistant Supervisors could cast a "Curtain," after all. That was already an application of cursed energy, so they did not qualify as "ordinary people."
What Brain was looking for had to be "ordinary people" on the boundary between Jujutsu Sorcerers and ordinary people.
These people might occasionally exhibit unusual traits or catch a glimpse of a Cursed Spirit, but they could not see them all the time, much less use cursed energy to do anything.
With those possibilities ruled out, Aikawa Kaze realized almost immediately who Satoru Gojo meant.
Aside from the students and
