When he learned that Satoru Gojo really was talking about Sakura, Aikawa Kaze could only sigh.
If it had been Junpei Yoshino, he wouldn't have agonized over it so much. He would have talked it over with him and gone ahead, but Sakura was just an elementary school girl!
Aikawa Kaze was now beginning to wonder whether the fatal ordeal the world consciousness had said Sakura was destined to face was that "biggest despair-inducing incident in history," or whether Brain had marked her.
After thinking it over, Aikawa Kaze couldn't help asking a question.
"Gojo Sensei, can't you use those invincible Six Eyes of yours and hurry up and find another suitable candidate to act as bait?"
"..."
Even Satoru Gojo fell silent for a moment at that unreasonable demand.
Who told you the Six Eyes were invincible?!
Still, Satoru Gojo clearly wasn't willing to admit there was something he couldn't do, so he changed the subject outright.
"Say, if I sent someone to watch over her, could we lie in wait and catch the mastermind?"
"That really would be down to luck."
Unless they deliberately stirred things up or leaked information, the chances were pretty slim. It would be like hitting the jackpot.
They were both busy and couldn't watch Sakura around the clock. And if they sent their subordinates to guard her... they probably wouldn't be much use if something actually happened.
But leaving her without protection wasn't an option either. Who knew when that mastermind might show up?
Satoru Gojo and Aikawa Kaze both sank into thought, trying to work out a solution. Neither expected the father at the next table to shoot a piercing glare his way.
"Sir, that's a minimum of five years in prison, with the death penalty at the upper end. Plus shattered
