Yuta Okkotsu's perception had originally been rather poor, but that was not because he lacked awareness. Back then, Rika had always lurked in his shadow, interfering with his judgment.
In fact, anyone strong would have at least decent perception, even if it was not particularly sharp.
After Rika left, Yuta Okkotsu had used his own cursed energy to reconstruct a "Queen of Curses" to help him fight. Naturally, this Queen of Curses had no consciousness and would not interfere with his perception.
Thus, although the special grade cursed spirit had kept his presence fairly restrained rather than brazenly drawing attention, Yuta Okkotsu still sensed him immediately.
Alerted by the two of them, the other two, who had not yet noticed the cursed spirit, also realized something was wrong.
At first glance, the clothed, humanoid cursed spirit looked quite human with his back to them, but a closer look revealed that something was off.
He wore short sleeves, exposing quite a few stitch marks on his arms, and his hair was tied into little braids in an eccentric style.
Normally, someone like that would attract plenty of attention, yet everyone in the arcade seemed unable to see him. That was clearly abnormal.
With three seniors around, Junpei Yoshino was not particularly frightened. If anything, he was a little excited and stole furtive looks at the spirit, only for Aikawa Kaze to block his view a moment later.
"Don't keep staring. Cursed spirits are very sensitive to being watched."
Aikawa Kaze took out his phone and typed those words into his notes app. Junpei Yoshino was the only complete novice here who needed a reminder.
Whether it was Toge or Yuta, both had merely glanced at the cursed spirit out of the corners of their eyes upon noticing him, then looked away.
