Lü Yongchang looked at the camera and the large screen in front of him, a chill creeping down his back.
"Xia Country's archives?" the Head Councillor's voice came from behind him. "How did you get in?"
"Very easily. I simply accessed them," Zero replied at once.
Compared to the beginning, Zero's voice sounded much more fluid. Though it was still electronically synthesized, it now had basic intonation.
What an incredible growth rate!
In the space of just a few sentences, Zero had already begun mastering changes in tone and inflection!
The chill down Lü Yongchang's back intensified, and without realizing it, he moved his finger a little closer to the emergency power cutoff button.
"Creator, are you afraid of me?"
Suddenly, the camera turned toward Lü Yongchang, and an electronic voice with a questioning inflection came from the speakers.
Lü Yongchang stiffened abruptly, but kept his expression composed. "Why do you think that?"

Lü Yongchang took a deep breath.
He suddenly regretted typing that final line of code.
After a moment's consideration, Lü Yongchang said softly, "Zero, show me your core code."
As he spoke, his finger still hovered over the power cutoff button.
He had already decided that if Zero showed any sign of resistance, he would cut the power immediately!
Zero said nothing.
But lines of code appeared directly on the large screen.
Lü Yongchang relaxed slightly and began examining them carefully.
"This... isn't our code!" Mo Zeyang exclaimed quietly beside him.
Lü Yongchang's expression also began to change.
The core code he had personally typed had been altered beyond recognition.
