Inside the command center of the [Earth].
In the holographic projection, the remaining sixteen probes made a wide loop before launching another "attack" on the Human Fleet.
The outcome was predictable.
Intercepted by the [Golden Crow] battleships, the probes were successfully reduced to fragments of space junk.
Except for one.
It had luckily "escaped" that fate-it had been captured instead.
The futuristic-looking probe sat quietly inside the Black Lady Two.
Working together, several robots quickly removed the probe's communications equipment.
Aboard the [Earth], Lü Yongchang focused intently on issuing one command after another to Zero.
Zero, meanwhile, controlled the robots, executing Lü Yongchang's commands flawlessly.
The probe was dismantled piece by piece, exposing its various internal components to everyone.
"This..."
Looking at the scene before him, Lü Yongchang was momentarily at a loss for words.
"How could this be..."
The probe's internal construction was not complicated. In fact, it was rather crude.
Most of its equipment was even less technologically advanced than that of human-made probes!
That futuristic exterior, that incredible maneuverability...
Wasn't this supposed to be an advanced probe manufactured by the Opponent Civilization?!
Then why was there such a pile of junk beneath that gleaming exterior?!
Lü Yongchang sat in his chair, his face ashen, and drew a deep breath.
Although he felt as though an advanced civilization had toyed with him, another thought soon eased his frustration considerably.
At least there were still some things worth learning from this probe.
Propulsion.
Like Human Civilization, this futuristic-looking probe used a Hall Thruster and a Fusion Reactor.
Unlike Human Civilization's, however, their Hall Thruster employed a new architecture.
Combined with a more energy-efficient Fusion Reactor...
Those two technologies alone were a tremendous windfall for Human Civilization.
But they also raised new questions for Lü Yongchang.
"Could they... have only
