"Biological Laboratory?"
Hope asked Hansent in a low voice, looking somewhat surprised, "Why the Biological Laboratory?"
"Aren't we going to explore an ice giant? What does that have to do with the Biological Laboratory?"
"You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask?" Hansent replied irritably. "Since Zero said so, let's just do as we're told."
With that, Hansent started walking, following the holographic arrows floating in the air.
After a moment's hesitation, Hope followed him.
As low-level employees under the Academy of Sciences, Hope and Hansent had access to some important areas of the Resource Management Bureau.
Unlike ordinary citizens of the Human Federation, they had therefore seen their share of "high-tech products."
Even so, the sights inside the Academy of Sciences left them deeply awed!
Robots of all shapes and designs moved in orderly streams through the starkly minimalist corridors.
When the robots entered the laboratories, the two men caught glimpses of researchers busy at work inside.
Unfamiliar experimental equipment, a serious, tense atmosphere...
Everything they saw made Hope and Hansent increasingly anxious.
Just as their apprehension peaked, the holographic navigation arrows dissolved into countless tiny particles, slowly fading into the air.
At the same time, Zero's synthesized voice rang out.
"Mr. Hope, Mr. Hansent, you have arrived at the Biological Laboratory."
The instant the voice fell silent, the laboratory doors beside them rumbled open!
The scene inside the laboratory lay fully exposed before their eyes.
"Professor." The synthesized voice interrupted Lü Yongchang as he checked the data. "The applicants have arrived."
Lü Yongchang raised his head and turned toward the laboratory entrance.
Sure enough.
Two tall, burly men stood stiffly in the doorway.
With a gentle smile, Lü Yongchang beckoned to them.
"What are you standing there for? Come over here."
"Relax. I don't eat
