In response to Fang Xu's question, Lü Yongchang rose unhurriedly from his seat and waved a hand, opening another Holographic Image.
"I already have a few ideas for storing antihydrogen atoms."
"The Particle Trap Device."
Lü Yongchang pointed at the Holographic Image beside him and explained casually, "That's what I've named it."
"Particle trap?" Fang Xu frowned at the device in the Holographic Image, which looked familiar yet somewhat strange, and instinctively asked, "Magnetic confinement?"
"Antihydrogen atoms don't carry an electric charge."
Lü Yongchang chuckled. "It is indeed magnetic confinement."
"But who said magnetic fields could only confine charged particles?"
As the second-in-command of the Academy of Sciences, Fang Xu had already thought of a possible approach upon hearing those words.
A glimmer of realization appeared in his eyes, though he still sounded hesitant. "You mean..."
"Atomic magnetic moments?"
An atomic magnetic moment was the effective component of the sum of the various magnetic moments within an atom.
It primarily arose from two sources.
The orbital motion of electrons around the nucleus, and the spin of the electrons.
Hearing the hesitation in Fang Xu's voice, Lü Yongchang's smile broadened.
He answered with certainty, "Exactly. Atomic magnetic moments."
"In the Earth Era, using the magnetic moments generated by atomic rotation to confine electrically neutral atoms was an extremely difficult task."
"But now, our magnetic field manipulation technology is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Under Zero's control, it's more than capable of capturing and confining them."
As he spoke, he swiped across the Holographic Image before him.
The projection quickly rotated to another angle.
The entire device came into view before Fang Xu.
The device looked like a long tube.
Layers of superconducting magnets surrounded it.
Under Zero's control, these superconducting magnets would generate an extremely complex magnetic field inside the tube's vacuum chamber.
