Dawn Star.

Earth Calendar, year 2451.

Immersed in antimatter experiments, Human Civilization naturally knew nothing of what was happening at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

After spending an entire year under Lü Yongchang's leadership, the Academy of Sciences successfully established a series of theories concerning antimatter.

With the theoretical groundwork laid, practical applications naturally came next.

Lü Yongchang had long coveted the Antimatter Engine and Antimatter Weapon on the technology tree.

But one enormous obstacle still stood in his way.

The problem of producing antimatter.

At the laboratory's production rate, Human Civilization had no hope of using antimatter on a large scale.

There were two main reasons.

First, producing antimatter with the Particle Accelerator consumed far too many resources. It was, quite simply, a losing proposition.

Second, antimatter output was far too low.

Compared with the Earth Era, humanity's antimatter production rate had indeed increased countless times over-it took only a week to obtain one microgram of antihydrogen atoms.

But for humanity, which had long since become a level three civilization, that snail's pace was clearly nowhere near enough.

A new solution for producing antimatter was therefore urgently needed!

The researchers at the Academy of Sciences all shifted their focus to this problem.

But this technology, which lay on the boundary between a level three civilization and a level four civilization, was clearly no easy nut to crack.

After several setbacks.

Lü Yongchang sat in his office with a grave expression, his lips pressed together as he studied the Holographic Image before him.

The Holographic Image displayed densely packed experimental data.

"Professor, the experiment failed."

Zero's electronically synthesized voice came from the speaker beside him.

Lü Yongchang's expression barely changed. He merely nodded lightly.

He had grown sick of hearing those words lately.
