A wave of startled discussion immediately swept through the command center aboard the [Earth].
Clearly.
Lü Yongchang's orders and words had left most of the researchers present bewildered.
Only the researchers who could "understand" this data war nodded thoughtfully.
Naturally, Mo Zeyang and the others were among them.
Mo Zeyang carefully examined the data in the holographic projection. As though he had discovered something, his tightly furrowed brows relaxed slightly, and he nodded in agreement with Lü Yongchang's remarks.
"I see what you mean. [Ten]'s behavior really is a little strange."
He clicked his tongue softly. "This really doesn't look like an invasion..."
"To me, it looks more like..."
A flash of inspiration struck Mo Zeyang. "An assessment! Just like the assessments from before!"
At those words, Lü Yongchang's eyes suddenly lit up.
"Exactly!"
"I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. This behavior really does look like an assessment of human civilization!"
"But..." Mo Zeyang scratched his head in confusion. "There's something I don't understand. Shouldn't the assessments have ended long ago? Why would we still be assessed in this way?"
"An attack like this, without any warning, is extremely dangerous."
"It makes no sense!"
Lü Yongchang pondered for a moment. "[Ten] is only a weak artificial intelligence."
"We need to think about this from a weak artificial intelligence's perspective."
"Clearly, something we did met certain conditions and triggered this assessment."
"As for what those conditions were, and why it chose such a dangerous method of assessment..."
"We'll have to ask [Ten]."
As he finished speaking, Zero, who had stopped attacking, controlled the research robot and sent an electromagnetic message.
After the electromagnetic message was sent, the data stream from [Ten] began to recede slowly.
Finally, under everyone's watchful eyes, it withdrew from the research
