One month later.
Hundreds of small starships, each less than five thousand meters in size, sailed out of the Micro-Universe Port.
They were the primary starships of the Micro-Universe Cutting Project-the [Spatial Cutting Ships].
Close behind them came a megastructure several times larger than [Kuafu].
It was the key device for this micro-universe cutting experiment-the White Dwarf-Class Micro-Universe Traction Device.
In other words, the second-generation [Kuafu].
It could "hold on to" a freshly cut micro-universe, preventing it from completely separating from the greater universe.
Under Zero's control, these starships quickly entered curvature navigation.
To prevent unknown effects from reaching the region where Human Civilization resided, their destination was an area with a relatively dense concentration of stellar systems, 1,000 light-years away.
Scans showed that the selected ten-light-year region contained five stellar systems of varying sizes.
Because they possessed a relatively rich variety of resources, the Academy of Sciences had selected these five stellar systems as the micro-universe's "native" members.
Of course, abundant resources came with certain drawbacks-three of the stellar systems had already given rise to primitive life-forms with relatively high intelligence.
Without question, no one would care what these life-forms thought.
They had not even mastered the means to observe the stars, so they would struggle to discover what had happened to them.
Another month passed.
Traveling at 10,000c, the [Spatial Cutting Ships] and the White Dwarf-Class [Kuafu] successfully reached the target region.
Cutting out a micro-universe was delicate work.
As with [Spacetime Trap] and [Spatial Annihilation], cutting a large expanse of space had to be carried out at critical spacetime nodes.
Lü Yongchang and the academicians had performed countless calculations on this selected spherical expanse of space, ten light-years in diameter.
There were 493 spacetime nodes in total.
They corresponded precisely to the 493 [Spatial Cutting Ships].
