  • Lü Yongchang discovered anti-gravitons and used them to create an anti-gravitational field.
  • Lü Yongchang activated opposing gravitational and anti-gravitational fields around a sphere, which vanished from the experimental chamber.
  • Lü Yongchang completed curvature navigation and led the fleet to Kepler-452.
  • Lü Yongchang proposed breaking apart Kepler-452c for metals, and the [Vermilion Bird] detonated an antimatter bomb inside it.
  • Lü Yongchang’s team tested tachyon communications, and the Expeditionary Fleet pursued the Talodans.
  • Aldan held a public vote in which most Talodans approved joining the Federation, and Bai Yixuan later ordered warp missiles that destroyed all eleven Eugene fleets.

Arc 25The Giant Trees of Lost Star

Humanity’s expedition to Lost Star provoked its intelligent giant trees, while researchers cultivated a sapling and uncovered its quantum communication system. The sapling eventually contacted Nus, who apologized and invited Humanity to return.

  • Zhu Ziwen approached a buried object and was attacked by a giant root, prompting Lü Yongchang to halt the exploration and order the team back to the Starship.
  • Giant trees drove Lost Giant Insects toward the landing party, and Xia Zhou used miniature hydrogen bombs to force the roots to withdraw while the explorers escaped.
  • Lü Yongchang and Mao Zhengzhi studied the trees’ tissue, and Lu Siyuan discovered that intense radiation could make it grow roots and leaves.
  • Meng Lu found bioelectric signals in the sapling, and Lü Yongchang and Mo Zeyang identified a root structure resembling quantum superluminal communication.
  • Lü Yongchang ordered the black hole probes to descend deeper after years of observations failed to detect gravitons.
  • Meng Lu and Mao Zhengzhi revealed that a laboratory sapling could communicate with the Lost Star trees, and Lü Yongchang approved a test of that connection.
  • The sapling answered Humanity’s greeting by asking who they were and what human civilization meant, then reacted violently to their explanation.
  • The sapling contacted Nus, who apologized for his earlier behavior and asked Humanity to descend to Lost Star again.

Arc 26The First Warp Experiment

Lü Yongchang’s discoveries transformed his consciousness and led humanity from gravity research to the creation of anti-gravitons. After developing the means to generate opposing gravitational fields, he began the first curvature-navigation experiment, which ended with the test sphere vanishing from the chamber.

  • Lü Yongchang learned that the Lost Giant Trees’ home was dying, accepted a young tree and its Intent Network Core, and took Giant Insect larvae as the Nus Civilization became humanity’s vassal.
  • Black Hole Probe No. 1 found gravitons, enabling Lü Yongchang to complete the superstring gravitational field equation and unlock new technology tree discoveries.
  • Lü Yongchang collapsed as his brain transformed into an energy entity carrying quantum consciousness, then returned to work despite the strain of overclocking.
  • Lü Yongchang and the Academy of Sciences developed gravitational field generators, began Warp Drive research, and found that strong gravity disrupted quantum communication near the black hole.
  • After the Black Hole Probe’s second dataset revealed anomalous readings, Lü Yongchang and He Bilin identified anti-gravitons and built a ring-shaped accelerator to create a micro black hole.
  • The team formed and stabilized a micro black hole, detected gravitons with opposite properties, and Lü Yongchang captured anti-gravitons that produced an anti-gravitational field.
  • In Earth Calendar Year 3275, Lü Yongchang activated opposing gravitational and anti-gravitational fields around a sphere, which vanished while the experimental chamber remained intact.

Arc 27The Kepler-452 Expansion

Humanity completed curvature navigation, reached Kepler-452, and began terraforming the system while Lü Yongchang pursued tachyon communication. As metal reserves dwindled, Lü’s plan to break apart Kepler-452c launched the fleet’s first planetary mining operation.

  • Lü Yongchang’s team discovered that curvature navigation destroyed unprotected objects, then developed a Warp Drive and proved that ships could travel safely through curvature bubbles.
  • After an observation starship was destroyed by particles accelerated ahead of a curvature bubble, Lü Yongchang ordered route checks and assigned Tao Yuda to study the effect as a weapon.
  • He Bilin developed a Gravity Shield, Lü Yongchang completed the grand unified theory, and he declared humanity a level-five civilization.
  • Lü Yongchang led the fleet to Kepler-452, where Shen Siwen proposed using antimatter bombs to thin Kepler-452b’s atmosphere and create oceans while humanity expanded its defenses and infrastructure.
  • Lin Shuguang joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after arguing that humanity should fight hostile civilizations and take useful ones as tightly controlled vassals.
  • Lü Yongchang’s team detected tachyon traces during a high-energy particle experiment and concluded that tachyon waves could be modulated to transmit information.
  • When Wang Man found that the fleet’s basic metal reserves had fallen below ten percent, Lü Yongchang rejected suspending Tang Hairong’s space-ring habitat project and proposed mining Kepler-452c by breaking it apart.
  • The [Vermilion Bird] detonated an antimatter bomb inside Kepler-452c, and Wang Man ordered its fragments smelted while lifting restrictions on basic metal use.

Arc 28The Talodan Vassalage

Human Civilization mined nearby systems, developed tachyon communications, and pursued the Talodan fleet after discovering that the Eugene Civilization was threatening it. The Talodans voted to become a vassal civilization, and the Human Fleet destroyed the Eugene fleets when they refused to withdraw.

  • Lü Yongchang sent Wang Man survey results showing nearby iron and rocky planets, then began planning a mining operation to supply a mobile planetary fortress.
  • Tang Hairong’s [Star Swallower] joined the fleet, and the [Vermilion Bird] began mining an Iron Planet while a probe traveled toward the Kepler-452 region.
  • Maren and Milo discovered that planets had vanished from stellar systems, prompting Aldan to change course as the Talodans fled their pursuers.
  • Lü Yongchang’s team successfully tested tachyon communications, then intercepted a Talodan probe and sent the Expeditionary Fleet after the Talodans.
  • The Human fleet arrived during the Eugene Civilization’s attack, and Lin Shuguang offered Talodan protection in exchange for vassal status.
  • Aldan held a public vote, and 76.3% of Talodans approved joining the Milky Way Pan-Human Federation.
  • Human Civilization took control of the Talodan Central Computer, improved the fleet’s systems, and prepared to bring the Talodans to Kepler-452.
  • After Kelei’s Eugene fleet refused to withdraw, Bai Yixuan ordered a volley of warp missiles that destroyed all eleven Eugene fleets.
