During the three years Yana Gus spent dormant, the starship had remained busy.
It gathered cosmic matter in deep space through Spatial Jumps, unleashing its gravity and deliberately colliding with asteroid belts or celestial bodies to accumulate enormous amounts of mass on its surface.
It soon drew this mass into the Processing Plant inside the starship, rapidly converting the matter into warships or Faster-than-Light Torpedoes.
Over those three years, it also produced three identical copies of itself. Bound by the supreme protocol, however, it could only use existing technological products, not develop new technologies.
Before the countdown, the starship told Yana Gus that the main body of the Eldritch Lifeform emitted a powerful electromagnetic field, creating a special region.
Within this powerful electromagnetic field, Faster-than-Light Torpedoes and small unmanned warships-seventh-generation Tianxing Jia-class vessels-would suffer a certain degree of suppression.
The outcome remained uncertain for both sides, but this was a good opportunity to launch a probing attack. If that attack was stopped, the best recommendation was to withdraw and keep quietly building up their strength.
Three hours passed in a flash.
Yana Gus and the other starships that had chosen to stay issued the attack order together.
About half a light-year from the Eldritch Lifeform swarm, ripples spread through an empty stretch of space. Ten sextillion Seventh-Generation Warships and the Faster-than-Light Torpedoes concealed within their stealth fields began to activate.
Like loyal sentries, they had already been waiting there for a long time. Numbers and precision were what intelligent machines did best.
Hidden behind space, Luo Qi watched the enormous Eldritch Lifeform swarm. The terrifying electromagnetic field unintentionally radiated by its largest member created a strong magnetic field zone powerful enough to interfere with normal space.
Any faster-than-light jump back into the conventional universe would be repelled by the high-energy
