Luo Qi was somewhat at a loss for words. His research into space focused on dimensional expansion, dimensional invasion, dimensional destruction, parallel spaces within the universe, and similar fields.
He had never expected that the first civilization to acquire space technology would make such a grand spectacle of using it to alter the information in starlight throughout the universe, making it infectious.
They had broadcast their own superior appearance to every race in the universe.
The Supreme Race's use of particles to alter other creations closely resembled assimilation particles. The latter were simply a little more extreme.
If the Supreme Race of this universe had wanted to use light to erase every other intelligent life-form back then, this universe would surely have been utterly silent.
But the Supreme Race had not done so.
Hu 181 added, "Although the Supreme Race has already ascended to a higher dimension and left this space, many spacefaring civilizations are grateful to them."
Luo Qi could understand that. It was a little like Qin Shi Huang standardizing units of measurement. At least the intelligent beings within a single universe would not discriminate against other races because of their bizarre appearances.
Except, of course, for those whose looks were truly outlandish.
As he spoke, Hu 181 flicked away a head-sized celestial fragment hurtling toward him. That little fragment would originally have fallen into the star and become part of its light. Unfortunately, the place where the star had been was now empty.
"This is why I don't like exposing my body directly to the universe. Many primitive civilizations like dumping untreated corpses straight into space. In a place with no up, down, left, or right, no one can tell whether you're a floating corpse or someone flying through the universe."
Luo Qi agreed, then voiced the
