Over the following days, Hu 181 took Luo Qi around various layered regions, and Luo Qi sampled the distinctive cuisines of different planets.
Hu 181 said, "Food and love are the true purposes of life. Everything else is just an extra."
As Luo Qi enjoyed the food, he felt like agreeing wholeheartedly. Germs from alien planets could not affect him at all; the food merely added a little color to his journey.
There was no grand welcoming ceremony, nor any formal reception between the two civilizations. Everything was plain, peaceful, and harmonious.
Hu 181 paid close attention to the Space Protocol. The places he took Luo Qi were all low-level reincarnation spaces, whose development resembled independent offshoots with relatively low levels of technology.
Even so, those low-level spaces always produced a few exceptionally gifted individuals each year.
Hu 181 also took Luo Qi to the Reincarnation Headquarters, which spanned ten thousand layers. There, Luo Qi saw many intelligent life-forms working, as well as many who had lost all desire to live and voluntarily requested reincarnation. After registering themselves, they could undergo a "reforging" and reincarnate. There were also life-forms seeking to restore their memories of a "past life" after returning to the cycle of reincarnation.
Luo Qi felt that the structure of this place was practically a mythical world from Earth, and he could not help developing certain doubts about the universe.
But he soon settled his mind. Countless secrets of the universe still awaited his exploration, and there was bound to be a gap between him and the Arel Civilization, which was made up of a collective.
Considering that the Arel Civilization had a far longer history of development than he did, Luo Qi told Hu 181 about a problem of his own: the red particle locked onto him
