The Order Breakers were far more powerful than Luo Qi had imagined possible. The fact that they had scared off even the Regional Administrator who could retrieve Luo Qi from nothingness said it all.
The three parties within the spatial barrier were roughly equal in technological strength, each with different strengths and weaknesses. None could be outsiders from another universe; they were all civilizations native to this one.
Otherwise, they would have long since used their means to subjugate or outright annihilate the other two civilizations and plunder their information, rather than slowly cultivating friendship here.
Luo Qi checked himself again to guard against an intrusion from some dimension tampering with his data. At that moment, Yi said, "Rather than sitting here waiting to die, we should investigate the coordinates the Regional Administrator gave us. At least there's hope of survival there. Unless you have a way to reach another universe?"
The leader of the Gao'ai Civilization glanced at Yi's metallic body. If they had another way to reach other universes, how could the three civilizations have met here? They would have fled long ago.
Luo Qi felt that Yi might have had its intelligence reduced. Light shimmered across the surface of its flashy new mechanical body, but that ostentatious skin apparently did nothing to improve its logic.
The coordinates Luo Qi had supplied were set by the Regional Administrator. They might lead to an enormous trap-the kind you jumped into and never came out of.
But none of the three space-level civilizations had a good solution for now. Although time did not flow within a spatial barrier, a small space bubble independent of the greater universe, anything that supported technological research still required vast amounts of matter and energy.
