Seeing that everything among the Metal Race was proceeding in good order, Luo Qi diverted some of his attention to observing the life inside his own microcosm.
What exactly was the soul Hu 181 had spoken of? Could it really disregard space and distance, traveling freely between layers of universes and spaces?
Was the unified universe form the Order Breakers had mentioned real?
Luo Qi watched the life-forms dying inside his microcosm. Spatial-level analysis allowed him to observe any particle in detail, and this was the first time he had looked directly at the death of life.
The planets he observed belonged to the two most recently developed civilizations. Hospitals had already appeared in both, but with billions of inhabitants across the two planets, natural deaths from old age occurred everywhere.
Soon, the bodies of the tens of thousands of individuals under observation began to fail, until their hearts naturally stopped beating. The electrons that escaped their bodies were immediately dispersed by the planets' magnetic fields, darting among the particles near the vessels of life as though becoming part of nature.
Luo Qi clearly observed the electrons produced by the disintegration of life moving and colliding naturally among other matter. They neither tunneled through space nor gathered in any form resembling the peculiar phenomenon of a soul.
On Earth, there had been accounts of souls and strange records concerning the ghost and god theory. Luo Qi had also created species with strong electromagnetic bodies and witnessed weak electromagnetic bodies invading individual life-forms within the universe.
Perhaps the individuals of these two humanoid civilizations were not powerful enough? Or were souls and natural matter one and the same to begin with?
Luo Qi turned to observing the birth of new life.
As new life gestated, electrons already moved among the cellular
