With her extraordinarily keen senses, Sparkle immediately noticed someone approaching from behind. She turned at once, regarding the figure with a trace of wariness on her face.
"Who are you? What do you want with us?"
Hearing the voice, Ning Rongrong turned around as well.
What met her eyes was a tall figure draped in tattered burlap.
The man carried a beer can in one hand and wore a reasonably presentable suit underneath.
His face was covered in stubble and grime, making his true appearance difficult to discern.
His stance, however, made him look rather like a wandering vagabond.
"Who's this?"
Hearing their questions, the man first tipped his head back and took a swig of beer, then slowly spoke.
"I'm looking for Sunday. Do you know where he is?"
The two girls reacted to his words with entirely different expressions.
When Sparkle heard that he was looking for Sunday, her eyes shifted thoughtfully.
After all, not many people knew Sunday. Although most knew that the Heaven Dou Empire had an exceptionally powerful Great Enshrined,
who would dare demand to see Sunday so openly? Anyone who could make that request with such confidence
was either a peerless powerhouse or someone who knew Sunday.
Thinking about how she herself had arrived, Sparkle instantly formed a guess.
She did not voice it right away, however. Instead, she stood to one side with her arms folded, ready to enjoy the show.
