Background / History

Penacony and the Second Transmigration

Sunday first transmigrated into the world of Honkai: Star Rail, where Robin became his younger sister. He worked to transform a bleak, corrupt Penacony into a genuine Planet of Festivities, pursuing “the Penacony of Mikhail’s dreams” while preparing to change its future 1.

As his plans approached success, Terminus joined Fuli and Mechanical Head in an attempt to eliminate him. Mythus’s later arrival did not reverse the situation. Believing his ascension to godhood might fail, Sunday had arranged for Robin to join the Express for protection. The last remaining power of Order transported him out of that universe and into the Douluo Plane before his apparent death 1.

Charity Hall and Imperial Recruitment

After arriving on the Douluo Continent, Sunday sold valuables to establish a Charity Hall on the outskirts of Heaven Dou City. Its helpers distributed rice porridge while he treated the displaced poor. By his first appearance, he had lived on the continent for almost three months 1.

His charitable work attracted imperial suspicion. Qian Renxue, disguised as Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, investigated him but instead sought to recruit him. Ning Fengzhi also approached him with chests of Gold Soul Coins, which Sunday accepted 1 3.
