Best actor Yun's aloof image had become so deeply ingrained that, when the livestream suddenly started, no one noticed his little ulterior motive.

"He started streaming at five? This early?"

"Is God Yun treating his fans? Did he deliberately let us see him sleeping?"

"Confirmed: God Yun spoils his fans!"

"Could God Yun be doing this to show us they slept separately...?"

"What bullshit are you talking about? Why would those two ever sleep together?"

"What the hell is that sleeping position, Yu Dog? Can a human even get into that pose?"

"Yu Dog actually wore shorts? That's not very professional seduction."

"Yu Dog's fans, get lost! Stop blocking our view of God Yun sleeping."

"We're his fucking haters! Not fans! Yu Dog is not a term of affection!!"

"Wow, Yu Dog's sleeping position might be a little wild, but his sleeping face is so sweet. I want to squish him."

"Yu Dog looks so pretty without makeup!"

"Yu Dog is gorgeous. I want to lick him."

"Haters: Shit, now we'll never clear our names..."

Daylight flooded in, and the director called everyone out of bed through a megaphone.

Yu Xiuyuan opened his bleary eyes and felt around for his phone to check the time. It was already nine.

He got up unsteadily, sat on the edge of the bed for a while to wake up, then dawdled his way to the bathroom to wash up.

"Yu Dog can really sleep. He stayed in that bizarre pose for four whole hours without moving!"

"So he really wasn't wearing makeup yesterday. I thought it was a calculated no-makeup look. His face is seriously top-tier."

"His skin is so good."

"Do you think he knows the camera's on?"

"Probably not. He hasn't woken up once."

Yu Xiuyuan came out after washing up, not even bothering to dry the water on his face. He raked his hands through his hair a couple of times, then stretched his legs. He needed to work out a little; this body was too weak.

He twisted his waist and stretched his legs. His waist was slender, his legs fair.

His butt was perky.

After stretching, he remembered the production team had told them to turn on their cameras after waking up, so he approached it to switch it on.

"Holy shit! When did this thing turn on?"

Startled, he sprang back a step and involuntarily swore.

Looking down, he frantically patted his butt, only letting out a long breath once he felt his shorts still securely in place.

"That scared the hell out of me," he muttered. "Probably nobody was watching me sleep anyway. If nobody saw it, I didn't embarrass myself. False alarm."

His self-soothing muttering was picked up crystal clear by the audio equipment.

"Hahaha, bet you didn't see that coming, Yu Dog. Not only were people watching, there were loads of us!"

"Yu Dog's waist is so slim."

"Right? Who would've thought I came to see how ugly he was without makeup, only to get completely immobilized by his looks?"

"What good are looks? He's a disgraced celebrity!"

"Don't worry, person above. I checked the dirt on him, and most of it is hearsay with no solid evidence. It doesn't make him a disgraced celebrity."

"Who's worried?!"

"Ooh, playing hard to get now."

"I ship it, I ship it."

Yu Xiuyuan grabbed a white T-shirt and black cargo pants, changed into them in the bathroom, then headed downstairs with a spring in his step.

"He's dressing that simply? No calculated little touches?"

"What more could he do? Even in those crappy clothes, he's giving off major 'fresh-faced college guy' vibes."

"Was his fashion sense poisoned before????"

"His old outfits were recommended by the 'little angel,' Wen Lin."

"Leave our Wen Lin out of this! Our Linlin only supported Yu Dog because that was how he liked to dress!"

"If Wen Lin really considered Yu Dog a friend, he wouldn't let his own fans call him 'Yu Dog,' would he?"

"Person above, you've spotted the key detail."

Once downstairs, Yu Xiuyuan discovered he was last again.

Great. No need to wait for anyone else.

As usual, he took a seat at the edge. The director appeared right on cue and announced with a smile:

"After spending yesterday together, I'm sure you all have a basic understanding of one another. To earn today's breakfast, you'll need to take part in a little game called 'How well do you know them?'"

He finished and looked around at everyone, his gaze suggestive and expectant.

Staff members immediately stepped forward to hand each person an answer board.

"The production team has prepared a lavish breakfast for everyone. Next, you'll need to answer three questions and write your answers on your boards. Each correct answer lets you choose one food item."

"Question one: write down the birthday of any guest other than yourself."

"Question two: write down the height and weight of any guest other than yourself. You may choose a different guest from the first question."

"Question three: write down one little secret belonging to any guest other than yourself. The chosen guest will decide whether your answer is correct. You may choose a different guest from the previous two questions."

This isn't right. There wasn't a game like this in the original novel! Yu Xiuyuan was bewildered.

In the book, the original owner had gone to great lengths to harass Yun Chuan the previous night, making Yun Chuan leave their room in the middle of the night. When everyone discovered him sleeping in the living room the next morning, another uproar erupted, generating a massive buzz.

Yu Xiuyuan sighed. Maybe because he hadn't stirred up trouble, there wasn't enough buzz, so the director had added this segment at the last minute.

These questions weren't difficult for Yu Xiuyuan. The original owner had been a devoted supporter of Wen Lin and knew even more private things about him. This basic information was a piece of cake.

A few minutes later, the director stepped forward. "It looks like everyone has finished writing. Let's have best actor Yun reveal his answers first!"

Yun Chuan turned his answer board around.

Question one: blank.

That was normal. He was a best actor, after all. It was perfectly normal not to know other people's birthdays.

Question two: best actress Lin, height 168 centimeters, weight 52 kilograms.

The fans were just about to start swooning over their chemistry when he said, "This question came up during promotional events for a drama I worked on with best actress Lin. I was told the correct answer."

"Sigh... That's God Yun for you, nipping any romantic ambiguity in the bud."

"Does he have to address her so distantly? Best actress Lin calls him Yun Chuan. That's so much more intimate."

"He really doesn't spare her feelings at all."

After the production team confirmed that his answer was correct, they moved on to the next question.

Question three: Yu Xiuyuan sleepwalks.

?????

Yu Xiuyuan tilted his head, looking like the confused guy in the question-mark meme.

Unless he remembered wrong, although they shared a room, they hadn't exchanged a single word the previous night. Where had this sleepwalking claim come from?

Besides, neither he nor the original owner sleepwalked.

When the production team asked whether the answer was correct, he looked hesitantly at Yun Chuan. "Best actor Yun..."

"You can call me by my name."

"Huh?"

"We'll be spending two months together. Just use my name."

"Uh... God Yun! As a fan, calling you God Yun is most appropriate!"

He looked modest, but inside he was unbearably pleased with himself. I'm such a clever little thing. If I actually called him Yun Chuan, wouldn't his fans tear me apart?

"As you like."

"All right, God Yun, may I ask where this sleepwalking thing came from?"

"At five this morning, you suddenly sprang up, looked around for a bit, then went back to sleep. Wasn't that sleepwalking?"

The memory came back to Yu Xiuyuan, leaving him a little embarrassed.

He couldn't exactly say he'd been an overachiever in his previous life and had developed a body clock that woke him at five, could he?

He could only make something up on the spot. "You don't get it. That was a forced boot-up, followed by a nice bit of extra sleep! Don't you like going back to sleep?"

"You forced yourself awake, then went back to sleep, just so you could enjoy going back to sleep?" Yun Chuan asked incredulously.

As though he had encountered something beyond his understanding of the world, even his voice carried a rare trace of emotion.
