"Shouldn't we notify the dean?" Shao Xin asked in confusion.
"Old Shao, you really don't understand Flender." Zhao Wuji stole a glance at Long Yue. "With his personality, he'll definitely agree."
Given Flender's greedy, mercenary nature, he would jump at a chance to visit an overseas continent without spending his own money.

"No need." Long Yue declined, but Zhao Wuji still escorted him all the way to the academy gates.
"Dean Zhao, is Dean Flender in the city?" Long Yue suddenly asked.
"Yes. Sleeping the day away in that old shop." Zhao Wuji described Flender's appearance to Long Yue with accompanying gestures. "Shall I take you to see him?"
"That won't be necessary," Long Yue said immediately. "The locals in Suotuo City are bound to know him. I'll find someone to deliver a message and have Flender come see me."
"Hmm... all right." Zhao Wuji nodded nonetheless.
