The group returned to Venice, where Ling Ling looked helplessly at the damaged recording.
"An Emperor-level creature really lives up to its reputation. Just one low rumble shattered all my equipment. Let me see whether the data inside is damaged and whether I can transfer it to my computer."
Muttering to herself, she sat down at the computer desk and began tinkering. Wang Dong'er and Xiao Qi came over, looking puzzled.
"You're back? Why do you look like you were in such a hurry?"
"Because we ran into an Emperor-level creature while we were out, so we came rushing back."
Sitting on the edge of the bed, Su Miu explained what had happened. Neither of the two girls was particularly fazed. After all, everyone knew how powerful their families were.
Although plenty of the gods in the Divine Realm became useless without their divine seats, there were still a few powerful ones. Unfortunately, none of them could be summoned here.
Meanwhile, Ling Ling recovered the core files inside the camera and transferred them to her computer. Before long, the restoration was complete, and she clicked play.
Su Miu appeared on-screen, standing on a cliff. Soon, an enormous black wall covered in red-black barbs emerged through the mist. The camera could not capture its entire form.
Then a piercing blast, almost like the whine of a mosquito, rang out, and the screen abruptly went black.
"That's all I managed to record. Still, this was my first time seeing an Emperor-level creature."
Ling Ling propped her head on her hand and watched the footage on the computer. She had to admit that a being at the very pinnacle of the world had an overwhelming presence. Beside her, Su Miu added a remark.
"The Silver Dragon King is beyond the Emperor level, too."
