Ling Ling is the granddaughter of Old Man Bao, the Azure Sky Hunter Agency's director, and the younger sister of Leng Qing, a Chief Judge of the Judgment Tribunal. Before awakening magic, she works with hunters through remote surveillance, research, and field navigation. Old Man Bao describes her as exceptionally selective about prospective agency recruits 25 28 37 70.

She initially dismisses Su Miu as a reckless rookie after learning that he has accepted a dangerous commission alone. Watching him locate and kill Blood-Patterned Demon Rats within seconds changes her assessment.
