The Far North

In the Far North, the icy wind howled, making even Su Miu's spirit body uncomfortable. Di Tian had brought Su Miu and Bai Xiuxiu there.

As for Di Qiu'er... the Prison Empress had been afraid that the Snow Empress would join forces with the Ice Empress, the Titan Snow Demon King, and the Far North's many Ferocious Beasts to lure the Auspicious Beast over, so he had left her behind.

Ha Jirui could only glumly practice controlling his Star Seeds at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. After all, sitting around doing nothing was boring too.

Meanwhile, the Myriad Demon King guarded Sunset Forest and had assimilated all the Azure Scale Seven-Extremity Flowers and Azure Scale Nine-Extremity Flowers on its outskirts.

Had Di Tian not stopped him, the Myriad Demon King probably would have assimilated the entire Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well as well. By now, the well had become the private property of Star Dou Great Forest.

The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well had originally formed because of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings. Now that Star Dou Great Forest controlled it, it could be considered returned to its rightful owners.

Afterward, Di Tian had brought Bai Xiuxiu to the Far North, also intending to persuade the Ice Empress and Snow Empress to cooperate.

"Su Miu, are you really confident you can persuade the Ice Empress and Snow Empress? Those two aren't easy Ferocious Beasts to talk to. I tried recruiting them before, but they joined forces and drove me back."

The scene from back then flashed through Di Tian's mind. With the advantage of the Far North's terrain and their Fusion Technique, the Snow Empress and Ice Empress had managed to repel him.

More importantly, they were all Soul Beasts, so he could hardly use lethal moves. Then he saw Su Miu hugging Bai Xiuxiu for warmth as he declared confidently:

"Don't panic! I have a plan to bring the Far North into the fold!"

He put on sunglasses and raised his index finger, looking every bit the sage with a brilliant plan up his sleeve. Di Tian started to speak, then stopped, raising an eyebrow at him.

A little skit flashed through his mind.

Su Miu: Help me catch a Summoned Beast.

Di Tian: As the Beast God, I won't help humans hurt my own kind.

Su Miu: I have a plan! Gold of Life!

Di Tian: On second thought, count me in.

Act two.

Su Miu: Prison Empress, do me a favor.

Di Tian: I have no reason to help you.

Su Miu: I have a plan! The Sky Dream Ice Silkworm's million-year origin essence!

Di Tian: On second thought, count me in.

Act three.

Su Miu: Prison Empress, take me to the Far North.

Di Tian: Are you confident?

Su Miu: I have a plan!

Di Tian: How do you have so many damn plans?

As these scenes flashed through his mind, he could only marvel at how increasingly extraordinary this human seemed. He actually knew so much.

Some time later, Di Tian brought the two of them to the forbidden grounds of the Far North's Core Circle, then unleashed his oppressive aura.

A resonant dragon roar terrified the many Ferocious Beasts out of their wits. Several powerful auras surged up, rapidly approaching from afar.

Bai Xiuxiu immediately tensed all over and instinctively moved in front of Su Miu, shielding him with her Soul Power.

Soon, the auras of several Ferocious Beasts over two hundred thousand years old appeared: the 200,000-Year Ice Demon Tiger King, the Profound Ice Flood Dragon, the Extreme Cold Sky Luan, the Ice Bear King, and the Titan Snow Demon King.

The powerful Ferocious Beasts, all at the two-hundred-thousand-year level, surrounded Di Tian. Yet their legs seemed to be trembling as they waited for their true rulers to arrive.

The next instant, an emerald streak shot from the horizon out of the depths of a freezing storm, parting the dark clouds down the middle. At the sight, Su Miu suspected that the little girl, the Ice Empress, was a closet anti-fan.

"Di Tian! What are you doing in the Far North?"

The Ice Empress unleashed a powerful aura against Di Tian. Clearly, releasing his oppressive aura in someone else's home already amounted to a provocation.

"You're not qualified to speak to me. Bring the Snow Empress here."

Di Tian merely shifted the aura around him and instantly crushed hers. The gap between them was like an insurmountable chasm.

The one-and-a-half-meter-long emerald scorpion transformed into a little girl and stubbornly flew up to Di Tian without backing down an inch. The Soul Beasts of the Far North were still very united when facing an outside enemy.

As the two sides remained at an impasse, Di Tian suddenly turned his head slightly toward a figure who had arrived over the ice and snow without anyone noticing. At the sight of the newcomer, he grew a little more serious.

Even if every Ferocious Beast present attacked together, Di Tian could still leave unscathed. If he used the Dragon God Claw, even the Snow Empress would lose. But there was no need; there was no mortal enmity between them.

"Beast God of Star Dou Great Forest, what brings you to my Far North? If you have no important business, don't blame me for turning hostile."

The Snow Empress came to the Ice Empress's side, and the two clasped hands. If Di Tian crossed the line in the slightest, they would unleash their Fusion Technique to counter him.

"Since I've come, naturally, I have important matters to discuss with you."

Di Tian's expression remained unchanged. So what if the enemy had numbers on their side? The Prison Empress remained utterly composed as he slowly descended to the ground.

The Snow Empress and Ice Empress landed in turn. Only when the enormous black dragon took human form did they notice the two other figures and turn their attention to them.

One was a Soul Beast that had taken human form to cultivate anew. The other... was a little strange. He seemed to be a spiritual entity, but his power did not appear to belong to the Soul Power cultivation system.

"Before that, allow me to introduce him. This human is named Su Miu, and he is an important partner of Star Dou Great Forest. He has something to discuss with you."

Di Tian pointed expressionlessly at the figure beside him as he spoke. The Snow Empress raised an eyebrow. The Beast God would actually cooperate with a human? Was this some kind of joke?

"Cooperate with a human? Di Tian, are you serious? We've all seen how cunning humans are, yet you're still willing to work with one?"

The Ice Empress folded her arms and spoke coldly. Clearly, she harbored a great deal of hostility toward humans. After all, they had hunted down many of her kin. Di Tian remained just as cold.

"You're in no position to tell me how to conduct my affairs."

Seeing the atmosphere grow tense, Su Miu stepped forward of his own accord and got straight to the point.

"Would the two Emperors of the Far North be willing to establish cooperative ties with Star Dou Great Forest?"

Knowing that the Soul Beast Clan disliked beating around the bush, he held nothing back. At his words, the Snow Empress's and Ice Empress's expressions turned cold. The Ice Empress was just about to erupt when the Snow Empress stopped her.

"Beast God, if you came here to bring the Far North under your control, then please leave. The next time we meet, we of the Far North won't be so accommodating."

The Snow Empress unleashed her demigod-level oppressive aura upon Su Miu, but Di Tian dispelled it with ease and quietly watched him.

This human had never failed before. Di Tian wondered what plan he had this time. Under his gaze, Su Miu spread his hands helplessly and sighed, then turned to leave, speaking with a look of regret as he walked.

"All right, sorry for the intrusion, Emperors of the Far North. What a shame, though. I suppose the 10,000-Year Profound Ice Marrow Vault in my possession will have to be enjoyed by my Xiu Xiu alone."

As those words fell, the atmosphere instantly went still. Both the Snow Empress and Ice Empress froze, only to see Su Miu reach out with a grin and drape an arm over Di Tian's shoulder.

Holding Bai Xiuxiu's hand with his other hand, he swept a teasing gaze over the stunned Snow Empress and Ice Empress and continued with the same regretful expression:

"Let's go, Senior Di Tian. I'd thought that the 10,000-Year Profound Ice Marrow Vault in my possession, with its forty-five pieces of 10,000-Year Profound Ice Marrow, each over three meters long, might help win over the Far North."

"Now it looks like there's no chance. I'll just have to give all that 10,000-Year Profound Ice Marrow to my Xiu Xiu for her cultivation."

"Wait!"
