After reaching the mountain, the group learned that they might face as many as nine beasts, and Ling Ling warned Su Miu not to underestimate the danger.

• Su Miu asked Ling Ling for help finding a Star River Vein, and she found a government commission to clear Commander Level beasts from a small deposit.
• Su Miu accepted the mission despite Xu Zhaoting's concerns and told the group to prepare for the next day.
