Yu Lin Bloodhawk naturally could not tell Daelin that he had transmigrated here, much less that he knew the broad course this world would take! In truth, the discovery of these Orcs Remnants had been no coincidence. It was a contingency Yu Lin Bloodhawk had arranged before leaving for Kalimdor. In the game, there really had been two orc-built Portals here where players came to complete quests, but he had no idea when construction would begin or when they would be finished. All he could do was have the Military Staff Headquarters send people to keep this place under close surveillance. He needed those Portals far too badly. Otherwise, why would he have bothered? With the war so intense, the Military Staff Headquarters in the Hinterlands had plenty of uses for its Gryphon Riders! Why would they send people deep into the Human Kingdom to watch one area for so long? And how could they have discovered the two Portals at precisely the moment they were nearly complete? The world simply did not contain that many coincidences.
Leaving the clamor of the woods behind, Shidewa and Xingluoge led their two units like ghosts into the jungle southwest of the mountain hollow.
"The orcs are preparing a sacrifice." Shidewa and Xingluoge bent their heads together to confer.
"Well, well! They really aren't holding back! Sacrificing more than three hundred orcs at once just to open two Portals," Xingluoge marveled. "I thought those three hundred-odd orc laborers and Auxiliary Soldiers would be a bit of a nuisance. Who knew they'd take care of them themselves?"
"We still can't let our guard down," Shidewa said. "With those Death Knights around, even corpses pose a serious threat."
"That's why we can't give those living corpses a chance to summon the Army of the Dead."
