Yu Lin Bloodhawk instantly felt he had asked a blind man for directions. He rolled his eyes at the old charlatan and turned to the Wildhammer dwarf to discuss feasibility. The dwarf thought there should be no problem if they only wanted to use molds to make identical little scales.
Without hammering, however, the iron armor produced from the molds might be poor quality. The plates would contain numerous loose pores, and the scales might also be too soft or brittle, offering poor protection. They would very likely fail to meet the requirements for armor.
The dwarf suggested that he go to Tinker Town and find a few of the best blacksmiths to work out a solution together. He thought the plan was feasible, but smelting and forging were not his specialties, so there was little he could do to help. His greatest strengths were carving and construction.
After thanking the dwarf profusely and saying goodbye, Yu Lin Bloodhawk headed to Tinker Town to find the dwarf blacksmiths. The old charlatan also left the Temple District and went with him. He knew Tinker Town better than Yu Lin Bloodhawk did.
After they found a few leaders among the Wildhammer dwarf blacksmiths, it did not take long for them to bring Yu Lin Bloodhawk ten Wildhammer dwarf blacksmiths with the greatest expertise in both smelting and forging.
