"This was only an overview in the first place, so of course it was broad. It simply warned people at the outset never to launch a war lightly without adequate preparation. The rest covered many things to watch out for in war, broadly divided into three aspects: timing, terrain, and popular support.
"Timing referred to the changing seasons, as well as the prevailing situation. Terrain mostly referred to the lay of the land. Popular support was the most important. It meant not only unity between commanders and soldiers, but also the allegiance of the people."
Yu Lin Bloodhawk smiled and said, "Take this war, for example! Right now, the Orcs have crushed the Allied Army Main Force with unstoppable momentum. The situation favors them, so we can say they have favorable timing. What about our side? We may not have timing on our side, but we have the marshes of the Wetlands and tall, thick city walls. That gives us the advantage of terrain.
"As for popular support, we need to look at it on both a smaller and a larger scale. On the smaller scale, it means the morale and fighting spirit of our soldiers and theirs, along with the relationship between commanders and soldiers. On the larger scale, it means how much support each side receives from the two worlds.
"The Orcs are just one race. But on our side, humans, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, and even Goblins are all supporting this war to one degree or another, united in their desire to defeat the Orcs. So on the larger scale, we have stronger popular support than they do.
"The Orcs right now are like a sword freshly drawn from its sheath, its edge keen and its morale high. Our side, however, suffered defeat in the last war, and
