"You could say that! Lor'themar sent word not long ago. I imagine Daelin will soon receive a battle report from the Alliance Supreme Command as well," Alleria said.
"How did things turn out like this? It hasn't been that long! I remember there were troops from many of the Human Kingdoms gathered there when I left," Sylvanas said in disbelief.
"No one expected things to turn out this way." Alleria sighed and shook her head. "If the orcs gain complete control of Arathi's war resources, the battles ahead will become even harder for the Alliance.
"The orcs will be able to obtain supplies nearby in Arathi and use it as a base to launch an offensive toward Alterac. By then, even Hinterlands may be under threat from the orcs."
"That would be perfect!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk grinned. "Then I'd have ample reason to lead my troops back to the Hinterlands, and I could take the opportunity to form the Hinterlands United Army. The various races and factions in the Hinterlands could also use the chance to try fighting together and learn to trust one another."
"You always manage to turn bad news into good news!" Alleria said with a smile.
"There are two sides to everything." Yu Lin Bloodhawk smiled. "If there's a good side, there must be a bad side, and the reverse is true as well."
"Does that mean we can't go to Kalimdor?" Sylvanas still couldn't stop thinking about Kalimdor.
"We're going! Why wouldn't we?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said. "When the orcs attack the Hinterlands, we'll head back and start forming the Hinterlands United Army. Those subordinates of mine could use some practice anyway. Once we're done, we'll slip off to Kalimdor without anyone knowing. Then no one can accuse us of shirking the war, can they?"
