The races and factions of Hinterlands had no objections to Quel'Danil taking the lead in the future Hinterlands United Burning Legion, because Quel'Danil alone could provide almost all the war supplies everyone needed.
Whether food or armor, Quel'Danil could supply it. Even weapons posed little difficulty, since most of the Wildhammer Dwarves still lived within Quel'Danil's territory. Quel'Danil had not only an alloy vein but also a small iron ore vein, so weapons were naturally no problem either.
The Witherbark Trolls and the Vilebranch Trolls had nothing to offer but manpower, so neither could take the lead. Most of the Wildhammer Dwarves lived in Quel'Danil, relying on others for housing, food, and supplies, so they would naturally not compete for leadership either. Quite the opposite: the Wildhammer Dwarves were the first to voice their support for Quel'Danil.
The problem lay with the green dragons.
