Of course, that was not the only piece of good news Alleria brought Yu Lin Bloodhawk. There was something else that thrilled him: Old Charlatan Sorens and his High Elf Mages had discovered a Portal in each of Zul'Aman's two military strongholds, Zeb'Nowa and Zeb'Sora. Old Charlatan and his Mages had dismantled both Portals, loaded them aboard a ship, and were already sailing back toward Quel'Danil.

The moment Yu Lin Bloodhawk heard that Old Charlatan had obtained Portals-and two of them, at that-he could no longer sit still in Lordaeron.

Portals! And he had acquired two at once, making a perfect pair. These things could disregard the distance between places, and Yu Lin Bloodhawk longed for them. Now he could hardly wait to return and see those two legendary Portals.

Yu Lin Bloodhawk felt he had to keep a close eye on something so valuable. Knowing Old Charlatan's ways, if he did not get back in time, the old man might decide where to install them all by himself.

So Yu Lin Bloodhawk had to hurry back. It was time to start preparing for his journey to Kalimdor. If he reached Kalimdor and established contact with Prince Thalor, he would need to place one of the Portals there to maintain close ties between Quel'Danil and Kalimdor.

Old Charlatan did not yet know that he intended to go to Kalimdor. Yu Lin Bloodhawk feared that, in order to maintain contact with Quel'Thalas, the old man might take it upon himself to install one Portal in Quel'Danil and the other within Quel'Thalas.

It was not that Yu Lin Bloodhawk considered the connection between Quel'Danil and Quel'Thalas unimportant. Rather, he felt that the distance between them was not all that great.

Installing Portals merely to cover that distance would be an extravagant waste
