But Jerick had no idea how Yu Lin Bloodhawk felt at that moment. He was still talking endlessly about the results of his research. Although Yu Lin Bloodhawk was genuinely intimidated, he was not so frightened that he could no longer bear to listen.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk did not understand many of the technical terms, but one word in Jerick's excited account caught his attention: Ghouls.
"Ghouls? Did you just say Ghouls?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk asked hastily.
"Ghouls? Yes! Ghouls are a low-level species from the World of the Dead. They have little intelligence, but their bodies exhibit very pronounced bestial traits.
"Ghouls have sharp fangs and claws, and they are extremely agile. Aside from their low intelligence, if we leave out factors such as the sturdy armor those Death Soldiers wear, I believe Ghouls are stronger fighters than ordinary Death Soldiers. I also suspect that Ghouls are a species capable of evolving."
Jerick said, "We discovered Ghouls because, during our research, I found that a Death Knight's Undead Army skill is heavily restricted by its surroundings. It requires a large number of corpses to work.
"So I wondered whether we could make this skill function as intended even without a large number of corpses present. Later, as we explored it in greater depth, we discovered a new world: the World of the Dead."
"The World of the Dead? You actually discovered the World of the Dead?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk was astonished, and even pleasantly surprised.
"Yes! We still have no way of learning much about conditions in the World of the Dead, but I believe that in Azeroth, death is not the end for a person. After death, their soul probably enters the World of the Dead."
