Moreover, there was a major Bloodsail Buccaneers base on the coast not far south of Gadgetzan's harbor. Yu Lin Bloodhawk thought it looked very much like their headquarters, because it had a shipyard, either for building ships or repairing them. Relatively speaking, Gadgetzan's harbor was far more dangerous than Ratchet's.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk's main purpose in traveling to Kalimdor this time was simply to find Prince Setore in Dire Maul and learn from him how to extract demonic power for his own use. That way, if the Sunwell's fate proved impossible to change and events unfolded as they had in history, the high elves would still have another path open to them.
Therefore, if Yu Lin Bloodhawk led a fleet from the Hinterlands to Kalimdor, both Ratchet's harbor and Gadgetzan's harbor would serve only as temporary bases and resupply points.
