But Yu Lin Bloodhawk was not content to remain so passive. After thinking for a while, he asked, "Once we install the Portal this time, can we dismantle it and install it again?"

"Of course!" Old Charlatan said. "But that would consume quite a few materials, and we only brought enough to install it once."

"Once is enough!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said. "As long as the Portal is built and connected to The Hinterlands, materials won't be a problem!"

"Oh? So you aren't worried about the money this time?" Old Charlatan asked. "Why aren't you shouting about going bankrupt?"

"Well... special circumstances call for special measures!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said.

"Brat!" Old Charlatan cursed. "So my business gets special treatment too, does it? The kind where you're especially stingy and especially unwilling to pay?"

"Uh... you can't really put it that way!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk looked helplessly at Old Charlatan and said, "Old man, don't you know how much money you've spent? Who else in all of The Hinterlands burns through gold coins as outrageously as you do?"

"Hmph! Magical research can't be measured in gold coins!" Old Charlatan knew Yu Lin Bloodhawk had a point, but he said it anyway.

"I know, I know!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk said impatiently. "I've promised you the stuff. Can you build the Portal inside the Boar Den now?"

"No problem!" Old Charlatan was straightforward enough about it, turning at once to call his people over.

"That old bastard is getting greedier by the day!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk muttered as he watched Old Charlatan walk away.

With personal gain to motivate him, Old Charlatan moved quite quickly. Soon after Yu Lin Bloodhawk reached the water source inside the cave, Old Charlatan arrived with his whole band of senior and junior Clerics.
