After finishing their discussion of business, Yu Lin Bloodhawk and the other two sat together, drinking and chatting. As they talked, something occurred to Yu Lin Bloodhawk.
"I'm really curious-how did you two break through and truly become Legendary in such a short time?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk took a sip of wine and said dejectedly, "I haven't been that lucky. I just can't seem to become truly Legendary."
Shidewa and Xingluoge exchanged a glance. Xingluoge said, "Lord City Lord, you're different from us. Honestly, your strength has advanced very quickly. If you hadn't let Shidewa and me absorb the Bronze Dragon Aspect's source power together, neither of us might be as strong as you are now."
"Don't try to comfort me." Yu Lin Bloodhawk smiled bitterly. "You two split one portion of the Bronze Dragon Aspect's source power, but I had all the Aspect of the Blue's source power to myself."
"Lord City Lord, we really aren't trying to comfort you," Shidewa said, shaking his head.
"Oh? Then tell me how we're different," Yu Lin Bloodhawk asked.
"My lord, didn't you feel anything unusual on the training grounds earlier?" Xingluoge suddenly asked.
"Unusual...?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk frowned, carefully searching his memory. "If you mean something unusual... oh... I remember. When you said, 'Time is a good teacher. It lets us see many things we couldn't see before,' I felt something unusual for a moment, but it was very brief."
"Then why did you feel that way, my lord?" Shidewa asked.
"Why?" Yu Lin Bloodhawk thought for a long time before answering uncertainly, "Maybe those words struck a chord with me? Or... no, that's not quite right either... I think something else made me feel that way at the time."
Yu Lin Bloodhawk's brow furrowed even more deeply.
