Suguru Geto's domain

Shuten Doji held his gourd in front of him, sending a small burst of cursed energy from its mouth straight at Suguru Geto.

At the same time, Shuten Doji moved like the wind. In the blink of an eye, the katana in his hand was already in front of Suguru Geto's face.

Seeing that he had no time to dodge, Suguru Geto summoned a yellow cursed spirit that formed a sphere around him, while cursed energy surged from both his hands.

He reinforced the cursed spirit's body with his own cursed energy, leaving Shuten Doji unable to penetrate it with either his katana or his cursed energy attack.

Shuten Doji retreated, then unleashed an enormous tornado from his mouth, blasting it toward Suguru Geto.

The tornado lifted the yellow sphere and sent it tumbling violently into a wall.

Suguru Geto emerged looking somewhat disheveled, his expression grave as he looked at Shuten Doji.

"You certainly live up to your reputation as the King of Monsters from ancient legends. Is wind the effect of your cursed technique?"

Rather than breathing out another tornado, Shuten Doji immediately closed in, held both hands before his chest, and sent two more hurricanes at Suguru Geto.

"Then let's make this... king against king!"

Behind Suguru Geto stood a cursed spirit in a kimono, with waist-length hair and one hand half covering its face.

"One of the sixteen special grade cursed spirits recorded in Jujutsu High's files, and also..."

"The Imaginary Special Grade Cursed Spirit-Tamamo-no-Mae Incarnate! Capable of amplifying my cursed energy and output..."

"And a special grade cursed spirit I recently subdued, Earthquake Catfish!"

The enormous white catfish-like cursed spirit sank into the ground, moving slowly in a way invisible to the naked eye.

With Tamamo-no-Mae Incarnate's appearance, Suguru Geto's own cursed energy was amplified.

Two expendable cursed spirits blocked the hurricanes and were torn to shreds by the powerful winds.

Shuten Doji did not continue pursuing Suguru Geto. The effect of his cursed technique had now ended. Its name was Wind-Chasing Demon Form.

After he was struck by a cursed energy attack, he could convert his opponent's cursed energy for one minute, boosting his attack power and speed while strengthening his true core offensive weapon-hurricanes.

Suguru Geto dodged easily. His taijutsu had improved even further since those days!

The Wind Curtain Blades were sharp enough to slice through the pillars of the grand hall.

Suguru Geto advanced, swinging Playful Cloud ceaselessly as though dancing, its twin black-and-red rods colliding repeatedly with the katana.

His wrists spun rapidly again, swinging Playful Cloud so fast it left afterimages, each blow landing squarely on Shuten Doji.

At the same time, Earthquake Catfish's gaping mouth came to swallow him. Shuten Doji plummeted as though falling into an abyss.

In reality, however, Shuten Doji had merely tripped and fallen where he stood.

"My chance has come..."

Suguru Geto raised his hand, and a black vortex expanded steadily between his fingers.

"The strength of Cursed Spirit Manipulation lies in its varied, complex attacks, which leave the enemy struggling to keep up."

"And this move is Cursed Spirit Manipulation's ultimate art short of a domain. It merges the absorbed cursed spirits into one, turning them into ultra-dense cursed energy for an attack..."

"But someone told me it apparently has another hidden use. By now, I've more or less figured it out."

That impassive face flashed through Suguru Geto's mind. Perhaps his subconscious was at work, because the corners of his mouth rose involuntarily.

"Maximum Technique-Uzumaki!"

The powerful black vortex fired straight at Shuten Doji like a laser. Before he could dodge, an enormous explosion erupted where he stood.

"That shouldn't kill you... I'll take my time tormenting you once I've absorbed you."

Suguru Geto strolled over leisurely and said, "I only used four thousand cursed spirits. Not even a third of the ones I've absorbed so far."

Halfway there, Suguru Geto suddenly froze. To his surprise, the cursed spirit before him could still stand.

Half of Shuten Doji's body had been destroyed, but he had not completely lost his ability to fight. He refused to give up just yet, because he still had one final killing move.

Blood stained the corners of Shuten Doji's mouth, but he repeated the same words as he formed a hand seal with one hand. "Human, this is not a place you should have come!"

"Domain Expansion-Wind-Governing Imperial Scenery!"

A round black barrier enclosed Shuten Doji and Suguru Geto. Inside the domain, everything was dim and gray, with fierce winds raging everywhere. Had Suguru Geto not understood the characteristics of domains so well, he would have thought he had been dragged into a desert.

"This guy has even mastered a domain..."

Suguru Geto raised his hands. When facing a domain, there were only two possibilities: wait to die, or counter it with a domain of his own.

Whether he lived or died would depend on whose domain was stronger!

Suguru Geto tilted both palms at forty-five degrees, brought his thumbs and ring fingers together, and interlaced his remaining three fingers. He spoke softly to Shuten Doji, as though speaking to himself as well.

As Suguru Geto expanded his domain, the power of the two domains began to clash.

The environment within Suguru Geto's domain, resembling a pitch-black pool, reached a stalemate with the desert winds of Shuten Doji's.

"The two domains are about equal in strength... But after that Uzumaki just now, dragging this out won't be good."

Suguru Geto maintained his hand seal, and cursed spirits began emerging from the pool one after another.

It could use a domain, it could speak, and it even had a palace? This feeling...

Judging by the fact that the tornado did not continue moving, it was not the domain's guaranteed-hit effect. Otherwise, that ability to suck up whole groups would counter him far too effectively.

The tornado continued sweeping through the interior of Suguru Geto's domain.

At the same time, cursed spirits of all sizes began relentlessly attacking the outer shell of Shuten Doji's domain, Wind-Governing Imperial Scenery.

Under the impacts of countless cursed spirits' cursed energy, the black outer shells of both domains gradually began to crack.

At that very instant, Suguru Geto's and Shuten Doji's domains vanished simultaneously!
