Survival through certain death

The mythical creature raised its tiger head high. Black motes of energy gathered from every direction, and in less than a breath, a dazzling sphere of light formed, its murky radiance eclipsing even the sun.

At noon, the sky went dark.

Space wailed as though countless steam trains were hurtling past.

The instant the sound subsided, a beam erupted, seemingly splitting the sky itself.

He stepped into empty air and hovered silently at the Cangnan Border.

From afar, the black wind blade resembled a moon falling from the horizon. It pierced layer after layer of space and plunged into the bloody mist in an instant.

The world fell silent, without a single sound, until a dragon's cry rang through the heavens.

The crisp sound of space shattering rang out as an enormous dragon head emerged from the bloody mist, holding a black moon in its jaws. Its majestic vertical pupils fixed on the distant mythical creature.

The dragon bit down, and the crescent dissolved into flecks of light that scattered through the sky.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Footsteps sounded one after another within the bloody mist, and Wang Quan walked out.

His white hair stirred in the wind. Crimson blood drenched his body, and a wound stretching across his chest exposed the bone beneath.

With every step, the wound healed.

"How does this kid heal like a mythical creature?" Chen Muye rubbed his eyes in disbelief.
