  • Gojo, Kaneki, and the others confronted Sukuna and Kenjaku, and Geto’s body briefly seized Kenjaku after Kaneki called to him.
  • Gojo and Sukuna fought through successive domains as Kaneki used Black Holes, Mahoraga, and Cursed Speech to create openings for Gojo.
  • Kaneki failed to sever Sukuna’s connection to Itadori, and Sukuna recovered and expanded Malevolent Shrine against Gojo and Kaneki.
Chapters 26–50 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 26Aliens

Kaneki revealed details about the aliens who would arrive in sixty-eight years, including the Okkotsu siblings destined to fight them and the aliens’ abilities and history. The aliens were refugees divided between a faction seeking peaceful coexistence and one intent on conquering humanity.

  • Kaneki told Okkotsu and Maki that their granddaughter Oyu Okkotsu would fight the strongest alien at age sixteen, and that Okkotsu would be dead by then.
  • Kaneki said Oyu had awakened the Ten Shadows Technique but would die of brain cancer if she refused to fight, and described the alien’s ability to emit light.
  • Kaneki revealed that Shinken Okkotsu had inherited Maki Zenin’s heavenly restriction and would fight alongside his twin brother, whose technique could create a spaceship and enable communication in Japanese.
  • Kaneki told Tengen that the aliens had a long-lived species, a god named Karian, and a history of conflict sparked by cursed spirits.
  • Kaneki explained that the aliens were refugees seeking land to rebuild their civilization, with one faction favoring peaceful coexistence and another seeking to conquer humanity.

Ch. 27Angel

Tengen revealed that Kenjaku had started the culling game and that Angel was inside its eastern Tokyo barrier, prompting Kaneki and the others to plan how to reach her and free Gojo. Kaneki arranged for Todo to remain outside the barrier and changed Inumaki’s Cursed Speech markings so Inumaki could join the mission; the group prepared to enter the culling game and find Angel.

  • Tengen told the group that Kenjaku had started the culling game and that Angel was inside the eastern Tokyo barrier.
  • The group discussed how to rescue Gojo and counter Kenjaku, including Todo using a binding vow with Boogie Woogie and Kugisaki attacking Kenjaku’s remaining flesh and blood.
  • Kaneki explained that Angel would help them because Megumi had saved her vessel, Hana Kurusu, and proposed using Angel’s technique to shut down Kenjaku’s domain.
  • Kaneki decided to enter the barrier after obtaining Todo’s cursed technique, while Todo stayed behind, and Inumaki offered to help.
  • Kaneki moved Inumaki’s Cursed Speech markings from his mouth to his right hand, completing a contract that required Inumaki to cover his mouth when using the technique.

Ch. 28Sukuna

Kaneki prepared the group to learn Soul Strike and strengthened their barriers while deciding to confront Jujutsu Headquarters after its announcement. Before leaving alone, he revealed Sukuna’s origins and warned the others that Sukuna could defeat them without special preparations.

  • Kaneki proposed monitoring Tsumiki Fushiguro and possibly separating Uro from her, but prioritized learning Soul Strike first.
  • Yuki Tsukumo taught Okkotsu to reverse a domain’s internal and external conditions, while Kaneki learned Barrier Technique from Tengen and had the Emptiness Barriers layered.
  • After Jujutsu Headquarters issued its announcement, Kaneki said he would send its members to Mahito and explained how Mahito could remain in the passage to reincarnation.
  • Kaneki revealed that Itadori’s grandfather was the reincarnation of Sukuna’s twin brother and said Itadori had potential equal to Sukuna.
  • Kaneki warned that Sukuna would kill everyone unless Satoru Gojo learned to shrink his domain, then speculated that Sukuna died from a prion disease caused by eating people.
  • Kaneki refused Okkotsu’s offer to accompany him and left alone to confront Jujutsu Headquarters, so Okkotsu could protect the group if Kenjaku returned.

Ch. 29The Gojo Clan

Ken Kaneki forced the Gojo Clan to let him take part of a preserved clan head’s corpse so he could obtain Limitless and help unseal Satoru Gojo. After Gojo Yūkurō brought him to the hidden tomb, Kaneki removed the corpse’s brain, but hurried footsteps approached before he could finish.

  • Kaneki entered the Gojo Clan grounds, knocked out Gojo Keita, and dodged the guard’s cursed bullets until Gojo Shinji and Gojo Yūkurō arrived.
  • Kaneki demanded the corpse of someone who had awakened Limitless, then outmaneuvered Gojo Shinji and revealed his Ten Shadows Technique to stop the clan sorcerers from attacking.
  • Kaneki said he could use Limitless without the Six Eyes and wanted it to strengthen himself and help unseal Satoru Gojo, persuading Gojo Yūkurō to take him to the clan’s hidden tomb.
  • Gojo Yūkurō opened the coffin of a previous clan head with the Six Eyes, and Kaneki used a cursed tool to remove the corpse’s brain.
  • Hurried footsteps sounded as Kaneki began preparing to stitch the corpse back together.

Ch. 30Limitless

Ken Kaneki devoured the brain containing the Gojo Clan’s Limitless and used the technique to protect Gojo Yūkurō from the clan’s conservatives. He demonstrated his power by taming Mahoraga, then left for Jujutsu Headquarters while promising to help rescue Satoru Gojo.

  • Ken Kaneki ate the brain and dodged the Gojo Clan conservatives’ attacks while his Cursed Technique analyzed Limitless.
  • Gojo Yūkurō stopped the conservatives from attacking Kaneki and confirmed that he was the Acting Clan Head.
  • Kaneki used Limitless to throw the old man and the other clan members out of the cavern, then promised to rescue Satoru Gojo.
  • Kaneki summoned Mahoraga and used [Limitless] to stop the Sword of Extermination before killing Mahoraga with [Eightfold] and successfully taming him.
  • Kaneki warned the old man not to harm Gojo Yūkurō, then left the Gojo Clan estate for Jujutsu Headquarters.

Ch. 31Squeezing the Rotten Oranges

Kaneki infiltrated Jujutsu Headquarters and killed the rotten higher-ups, sparing Gakuganji to take him to the Tombs of the Star Corridor. He visited Itadori and then awakened Megumi Fushiguro, leaving with him as he prepared to secure the Ten Shadows Technique.

  • Kaneki secretly entered Jujutsu Headquarters and killed the higher-ups who were discussing how to punish Yuta Okkotsu, while sparing Gakuganji because he was still useful.
  • Kaneki took Gakuganji to the Tombs of the Star Corridor after buying supplies and storing them in his shadow, revealing his Ten Shadows Technique.
  • Kaneki visited Itadori and Choso in the Emptiness Barrier, gave them food, and told Itadori to wait a few more days as Sukuna threatened him.
  • Kaneki told Tengen he wanted to visit Megumi Fushiguro, entered his Emptiness Barrier, and left with Megumi awake.

Ch. 32Kinji Hakari

After Megumi Fushiguro stayed behind in the Emptiness Barrier, the sorcerers trained for the coming Culling Game while Ken Kaneki studied Barrier Technique. Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi arrived and learned about the crisis, and Kaneki revealed his fear that Sukuna could take over his body.

  • Kaneki refused Fushiguro's request to see Itadori, warning that Sukuna could seize Fushiguro's body, and Tengen opened the Emptiness Barrier for Fushiguro and the others to stay in.
  • The remaining sorcerers trained in Facets, Construction, Soul Strike, and Simple Domain while Kaneki continued studying Barrier Technique.
  • Tengen opened a door, and Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi arrived and asked Okkotsu whether Gojo had really been sealed.
  • Okkotsu told Hakari and Kirara about recent events, and Yū Shinji explained how Kaneki had helped him survive Mahito and later become a sorcerer.
  • Kaneki said he could not warn Itadori because Sukuna might learn about his ability to see the future, then revealed his strong suspicion that Sukuna could use Enchain to take over his body.

Ch. 33Rest

Okkotsu, Kaneki, and Hakari planned how to enter the Culling Game, confront Kenjaku’s allies, and rescue Megumi Fushiguro’s sister. After Shoko convinced Kaneki to rest, he woke from a nightmare and struggled with severe nausea.

  • Okkotsu outlined the plan for Kaneki and Hakari to enter the Culling Game with him, and Kaneki revealed he could acquire cursed techniques, including Limitless and Ten Shadows Technique.
  • Kaneki assigned Hakari to hold off Uraume while the group searched for Angel, gathered points, and prepared to rescue Megumi Fushiguro’s sister.
  • Kaneki planned to acquire Ui Ui’s cursed technique so he could leave the barrier and bring reinforcements back to the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
  • Shoko urged Kaneki and the others to rest, and Tengen changed the Emptiness Barrier surroundings to night.
  • Kaneki woke from a nightmare retching, snapped his finger to interrupt the nausea, and eventually lay back down without healing the injury.

Ch. 34Mint Candy

Kaneki cared for the exhausted group at the Tombs of the Star Corridor while struggling to eat after his nightmares, and the others supported him by sharing his meals. He revealed that he had tamed Mahoraga and had Okkotsu train it to adapt to [Dismantle] before dismissing it, confident Kenjaku was too busy to attack.

  • Kaneki bought food himself to guard against Kenjaku poisoning it, then returned to the Tombs of the Star Corridor and served breakfast to the others.
  • Kaneki explained to Megumi Fushiguro that he had acquired [Ten Shadows Technique], then struggled to eat vegetable porridge until Kugisaki gave him mint candy.
  • The group trained harder, and at lunch everyone avoided the meat dishes Kaneki had brought and ate vegetables with him.
  • Kaneki had Tengen close the passage to Megumi Fushiguro's Emptiness Barrier, then summoned Mahoraga and shocked the others by revealing he had tamed it.
  • Kaneki asked Okkotsu to use [Dismantle] on Mahoraga, which adapted to the slashes, and stopped the training before it could be exposed to [Open].

Ch. 35Shikigami

Kaneki advised Naobito Zenin on ways Megumi Fushiguro could develop the Ten Shadows Technique, then trained with the others while preparing a new use for Yuki Tsukumo’s Star Rage. He left with a bracelet of cursed-tool shikigami beads that could potentially unleash attacks on the scale of Blue and Red.

  • Kaneki told Naobito Zenin that taming Mahoraga with the Ten Shadows Technique alone was likely impossible, but suggested fusing shikigami and using their abilities without manifesting them.
  • Over the next two days, Kaneki studied barrier techniques with Tengen, while Okkotsu and the others switched from Soul Strike to learning Hollow Wicker Basket and Falling Blossom Emotion.
  • Kaneki asked Kirara Hoshi to set up his cursed technique to make it harder for Kenjaku to reach Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro.
  • Kaneki learned to use Star Rage to create a cursed-tool shikigami and made eighteen black prayer beads, which he called [Hell] beads.
  • Kaneki proposed imbuing a bead with Star Rage and using it to create a [Black Hole], and Yuki Tsukumo realized his precise cursed energy control might make it possible.

Ch. 36Nothing but arms

Mei Mei brought the unconscious Ui Ui to Ken Kaneki, who healed his missing arm in exchange for the group’s severed limbs and ate them to obtain their techniques. After Ui Ui woke, Kaneki asked him to take him to their agreed destination, and Ui Ui prepared to do so.

  • Mei Mei brought Ui Ui to Kaneki, and Round Deer regrew Ui Ui’s missing arm.
  • Yuki Tsukumo, Todo, Nanami, Naobito Zenin, Toge Inumaki, Arata Nitta, Kugisaki, and Tengen gave Kaneki their arms; Kaneki stopped Takuma Ino from cutting off his own.
  • Shoko and Okkotsu treated the group’s bleeding while Round Deer healed their severed arms, including Kugisaki’s forearm.
  • Kaneki ate the collected limbs, repeatedly retching and breaking his fingers to suppress it as Reverse Cursed Technique healed his hand.
  • Ui Ui woke from the anesthetic, and Kaneki asked him to take him to their agreed destination immediately.

Ch. 37Malaysia

Kaneki sent most of the group to Malaysia to keep them safe while he and the others prepared for the Culling Game. After Naobito returned to the Zenin Clan, Kaneki’s group chose to delay entering the game until the deadline and began making plans to improve their techniques.

  • Kaneki arranged for Mei Mei to monitor the remaining group with her crows, then sent everyone except Naobito Zenin to Malaysia, with Ui Ui helping make the trips.
  • Kaneki gave Okkotsu ribs from Inumaki, Ui Ui, and Arata Nitta for Rika to eat, then took Naobito back to the Zenin Clan estate.
  • Kaneki warned Naobito to focus on education and told him that, in the future he had seen, only Maki and Fushiguro remained in the clan.
  • Kaneki asked whether the group wanted to enter the Culling Game immediately or closer to the deadline, and they chose to wait.
  • Kaneki gave Okkotsu Ui Ui’s written instructions for his Cursed Technique and proposed soul-swapping training with Yuki Tsukumo, who agreed.

Ch. 38Soul Exchange

Kaneki and Yuki Tsukumo completed their soul exchange training, then reunited with the others as the group prepared for the Culling Game and Kenjaku’s arrival. The chapter ended with Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Hakari heading for the Sendai Colony, where Angel and Uro had been located.

  • Yuki Tsukumo and Kaneki swapped souls, trained their technique control, and discovered that Kaneki could eat normally in Yuki Tsukumo’s body.
  • The group trained for the Culling Game while Mai practiced forging the Soul Liberation Blade and Maki prepared to use a sword.
  • After switching back, Kaneki gained [Star Rage] and [Ten Shadows Technique] engraved in his brain, and Mai finally replicated the Soul Liberation Blade.
  • Kaneki took Mai to Malaysia, where Maki saw the [Facets] and completed her awakening.
  • Tengen assigned Yuki Tsukumo, Maki, Choso, and Todo to protect the Tombs of the Star Corridor while Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Hakari went to find Angel and deal with Tsumiki Fushiguro.
  • Tengen located Angel in the Sendai Colony, where Uro had also gone after meeting Kenjaku.

Ch. 39Sendai Colony

Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Kinji Hakari entered the Sendai Colony and were separated, each facing threats from ancient sorcerers. Kaneki went searching for Angel while Kinji survived a barrage of attacks and figured out how the archer’s technique worked.

  • Sasaki and Iguchi watched as Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Kinji Hakari entered the Sendai Colony together.
  • After the barrier separated them, Kaneki survived Ryu Ishigori’s [Granita Blast], spotted Takako Uro, and followed a crow toward the others.
  • Kaneki searched for Angel while Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro pursued him.
  • Kinji Hakari found Angel surrounded by ancient sorcerers and was targeted by an archer’s homing Eight-Headed Arrow.
  • A samurai’s iron ball caused a high-rise to collapse, but Kinji escaped the rubble and healed his wounds with Reverse Cursed Technique.
  • Kinji noticed the archer targeting him again and worked out the prerequisite for activating the man’s technique.

Ch. 40Sendai Colony 2

Ken Kaneki arrived just as the samurai and his allies overwhelmed Kinji Hakari, using [Blue] to rescue him and reveal that he had acquired [Limitless]. As Kaneki began healing Hakari with Round Deer, the samurai and the others attacked him, and Hakari warned him about an enemy technique that distorted distance.

  • The samurai, Yuriko, Mulong, Dwarf, and the archer coordinated their attacks against Kinji Hakari, and the samurai cut open Hakari's abdomen.
  • As Dwarf and the archer moved in to finish Hakari, Ken Kaneki used [Blue] to rush in, knock Dwarf away, and crush the Eight-Headed Arrow.
  • Kaneki switched to [Ten Shadows Technique] and summoned Round Deer to heal Hakari, prompting Hana Kurusu to recognize Megumi Fushiguro's technique.
  • The samurai charged Kaneki during his technique switch, while the other four attackers joined in.
  • Hakari warned Kaneki that one enemy could alter his perception of distance and that the technique appeared to affect only one person at a time.

Ch. 41Sendai Colony 3

Kaneki fought the Sendai Colony sorcerers while Kinji Hakari battled Mulong, and Mahoraga emerged to save Kaneki from Nishimura’s cursed technique. Kenjaku infiltrated the Tombs of the Star Corridor, while Hakari continued overpowering Mulong.

  • Kaneki severed Samurai’s hand and cut through a cursed-technique wall, while Hakari knocked aside Yuriko’s spikes and Hana Kurusu identified Kaneki as the Fallen.
  • Hakari explained the enemies’ techniques as Round Deer healed Samurai and fled into the shadows; Kaneki blocked the Eight-Headed Arrow with [Limitless].
  • Kaneki used [Boogie Woogie] to switch places with Mulong, allowing Hakari to punch him, then switched Hakari with a rabbit to send Mulong flying again.
  • Yuriko pressed Kaneki with a Jitte while Samurai struck from behind, and Nishimura used cursed energy resonance to drive a nail into Kaneki’s shadow and inflict severe pain.
  • Mahoraga emerged and ripped the nail from Kaneki’s shadow, but Ryu Ishigori’s [Granita Blast] forced Samurai and the others to retreat; observers also saw Kenjaku infiltrating the Tombs of the Star Corridor with Uraume.
  • Hakari kept attacking Mulong, breaking his arm and declaring that his blood was still boiling as Kaneki stood amid the ruins.

Ch. 42Sendai Colony 4

Ken Kaneki fought the Sendai Colony sorcerers while trying to protect Kinji Hakari and secure Angel’s cursed technique. After Hakari trapped Mulong and Yuriko in his domain, Kaneki killed the mixed-blood fighter and turned his attention to the archer.

  • Hana Kurusu approached Kaneki after he used the Ten Shadows Technique, but the other sorcerers’ attacks forced her to retreat.
  • Dwarf revealed that he had used an incarnated vessel’s restart mechanism to survive, then cursed Hakari with increasingly severe blood clotting before fleeing.
  • Hakari opened Idle Death Gamble and pulled Mulong and Yuriko into his domain as Kaneki assessed the remaining threats.
  • Kaneki used Projection to rush the mixed-blood fighter, tore off his hands, and used him as a shield against the archer’s Eight-Headed Arrow and Ryu Ishigori’s Granita Blasts.
  • The mixed-blood fighter’s Restart activated too early to save him, and Kaneki announced that the archer was his next target.

Ch. 43Sendai Colony 5

Ken Kaneki and his allies broke the three overlapping domains, but the battle shifted when Uro arrived and recognized Kaneki as the sorcerer who had used Malevolent Shrine. She attacked him and Mahoraga, demanding to know what he had done to Sukuna.

  • Mahoraga killed the distant archer, and the remaining three opponents deployed their domains before Kaneki could act.
  • Kaneki used Hollow Wicker Basket and Simple Domain to withstand the sure-hit attacks while Mahoraga destroyed the domains’ outer shells; Angel then used Jacob’s Ladder as the barriers collapsed.
  • Kaneki switched to Boogie Woogie to try to bring Angel to him, hoping to use her technique to free Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm.
  • Uro appeared in Tsumiki Fushiguro’s body, recognized Kaneki, and accused him of harming her husband, Sukuna.
  • Uro attacked Kaneki and Mahoraga with liquid-metal spears, while Ryu Ishigori fired a Granita Blast at her and Mahoraga adapted to her Construction technique.

Ch. 44Sendai Colony 6

Kaneki and Okkotsu arrived to support Hakari, and Kaneki freed Gojo from the Prison Realm as the battle in Sendai continued. After a warning that the group at the Tombs of the Star Corridor was in danger, Kaneki stayed behind to fight and killed Mulong with Mahoraga.

  • Kaneki tore off Hana Kurusu's arm, swapped her to safety, and brought out Round Deer to heal her while Okkotsu destroyed Samurai's vibration sphere and used Jacob's Ladder.
  • Kaneki confirmed that Gojo had been unsealed, then swapped Hakari out of his dissipating domain and reunited with him and Okkotsu.
  • Okkotsu intercepted Ryu Ishigori and Takako Uro while Kaneki rescued Mahoraga from Samurai and sent the shikigami into the shadow.
  • A crow's three calls warned Kaneki, Okkotsu, and Hakari that the group at the Tombs of the Star Corridor was in danger, so Hakari rejoined the fight and Kaneki resolved to kill as many enemies as possible quickly.
  • Kaneki used Malevolent Shrine to destroy Uro's armor and sever her cursed-energy source without killing her, then Mahoraga emerged behind Mulong and killed him with one sword strike.

Ch. 45Tombs of the Star Corridor

Ken Kaneki awakened Tsumiki Fushiguro and left her in Hana Kurusu’s care before returning to the Tombs of the Star Corridor, where Yuki Tsukumo, Choso, and Aoi Todo fought Kenjaku and Uraume. Kenjaku expanded his domain as Yuki activated Simple Domain and Todo switched Choso out of its reach.

  • Kaneki struck Uro with Black Flash, reached Tsumiki’s consciousness, and restored her will to live before she expelled a shriveled heart-like object.
  • Kaneki attacked Shaoyuan and the others with Malevolent Shrine, then brought Tsumiki to Angel and had Round Deer heal her before entrusting her to Hana.
  • Kaneki left the Sendai Colony, and the timeline returned to Kenjaku’s arrival at the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
  • Choso, Yuki, and Todo used Piercing Blood, Garuda, and Todo’s swapping technique to attack Kenjaku and Uraume, while Kenjaku countered with gravity and Uraume’s arm was crushed.
  • Kenjaku expanded Womb Profusion; Yuki activated Simple Domain, and Todo switched Choso out as Uraume healed his injuries.

Ch. 46Tombs of the Star Corridor 2

Ken Kaneki and the others confronted Kenjaku and Ryomen Sukuna after Sukuna took control of Yuji Itadori’s body, while Satoru Gojo joined the battle. Ken Kaneki used Satoru Gojo’s voice to stir Suguru Geto’s body into resisting Kenjaku.

  • Yuki Tsukumo, Maki Zenin, and Aoi Todo attacked Kenjaku and Uraume inside the Emptiness Barrier, but Sukuna and Tachibana Mio arrived.
  • Sukuna split Choso’s [Piercing Blood] and confronted Satoru Gojo after Gojo entered the barrier.
  • Satoru Gojo attacked Kenjaku, but Sukuna intercepted him and declared that he would kill Gojo and then Ken Kaneki.
  • Ken Kaneki arrived, deflected Sukuna’s slash with [Inviolability], and confronted Kenjaku after realizing what he had done.
  • Ken Kaneki imitated Satoru Gojo’s voice and urged Suguru Geto to wake up, prompting Geto’s body to grab Kenjaku by the throat.

Ch. 47Dying Star Palace 3

Ken Kaneki, Satoru Gojo, Mahoraga, and their allies fought Sukuna and Kenjaku across the layers of the Emptiness Barrier. Sukuna knocked Kaneki out of the fight temporarily and prepared to face Gojo alone, but Gojo pulled Uraume back into the battle.

  • Kaneki, Gojo, and Mahoraga attacked Sukuna while Yuki Tsukumo and Maki pressured Kenjaku, whose defenses and cursed spirits kept him alive.
  • Gojo revealed that Sukuna had consumed nineteen fingers, and the fighters drove Sukuna through the Emptiness Barrier into its next layer.
  • Kenjaku darkened the barrier and unleashed cursed spirits to hold back Yuki, Maki, Todo, and Choso while he healed.
  • Uraume froze Mahoraga in the next layer, allowing Sukuna to strike Kaneki and ease the pressure on himself.
  • Uraume shattered the barrier beneath herself and Sukuna, but Gojo used his techniques to pull her back and declared that he would decide when the battle ended.

Ch. 48Tombs of the Star Corridor 4

Ken Kaneki used an Underworld Bead to create a controlled [Black Hole] during Sukuna and Satoru Gojo's domain clash. The domains collapsed, and the survivors fell into the final Emptiness Barrier, where Gojo learned Kaneki had prepared Mahoraga to resist Yuki Tsukumo's Cursed Technique.

  • Satoru Gojo struck Uraume through the Emptiness Barrier, then expanded [Unlimited Void] as Sukuna opened [Malevolent Shrine].
  • Sukuna and Gojo shrank their domains and fought while Kaneki retreated, realizing his presence gave Sukuna chances to target him.
  • As three minutes passed, Kaneki switched to [Star Rage] and prepared an Underworld Bead while Mahoraga blocked Sukuna's view of him.
  • Sukuna attacked Kaneki with [Malevolent Shrine], but Gojo intercepted Sukuna's slashes and protected Kaneki as the bead formed a [Black Hole].
  • Sukuna's domain sliced apart [Unlimited Void], and Gojo used [Simple Domain] to shield Kaneki while the [Black Hole] engulfed Sukuna and the surrounding barrier.
  • After the domains dissipated, Gojo asked how Mahoraga had survived, and Kaneki explained that he had made Mahoraga adapt to Yuki Tsukumo's [Star Rage] in advance.

Ch. 49Tombs of the Star Corridor 5

Ken Kaneki’s domain clash with Uraume ended in burnout, while Satoru Gojo and Sukuna continued fighting inside their domains. Kaneki prepared another attack as Mahoraga adapted to Unlimited Void and Uraume withdrew.

  • Kaneki and Uraume expanded their domains, but Kaneki’s Dismantle struck Uraume and shattered his domain, allowing Unlimited Void to take effect.
  • Gojo and Sukuna expanded their own domains, collapsing Kaneki’s domain and leaving Kaneki and Uraume in cursed technique burnout; Mahoraga remained stunned by Unlimited Void.
  • Mahoraga recovered inside Kaneki’s shadow and began adapting to Unlimited Void, while Sukuna realized Kaneki could use it to incapacitate him.
  • Uraume attacked Kaneki with Ice Formation: Falling Torrent, but Mahoraga emerged and shattered the ice; Uraume retreated as his technique proved ineffective against Mahoraga.
  • Gojo gained the advantage against Sukuna with Blue and Red, while Kaneki considered using Cursed Speech to create an opening for Purple.
  • Kaneki switched to Star Rage and began pouring mass into an Underworld Bead as Mahoraga stood ready to block Malevolent Shrine.

Ch. 50Tombs of the Star Corridor 6

Ken Kaneki and Satoru Gojo combined their techniques to unleash Hollow Technique-Purple against Sukuna, but Sukuna recovered and opened Malevolent Shrine. The chapter ended with Sukuna’s domain relentlessly cutting Gojo and Kaneki.

  • Kaneki unleashed a tightly constrained Black Hole while Gojo held Sukuna back, but Sukuna used Malevolent Shrine to survive it.
  • Gojo attacked Sukuna as Kaneki prepared Cursed Speech, then used Red and Blue to set up Hollow Technique-Purple while Sukuna, Mahoraga, and Uraume tried to stop him.
  • Kaneki froze Sukuna and Uraume with Cursed Speech, allowing Gojo’s Purple to devastate the domain; the domain broke, and Kaneki rapidly healed using Tengen’s Immortality Technique.
  • Kaneki tried to cut the boundary between Sukuna’s and Itadori’s souls with Dismantle, but the attack failed, and Sukuna struck him with Black Flash.
  • Sukuna recovered from cursed technique burnout and expanded Malevolent Shrine, directing its sure-hit slashes at Gojo and Kaneki and leaving them drenched in blood.
