Background / History

Tang San is a transmigrator who spent more than six years in Holy Soul Village caring for Tang Hao while cultivating the Mysterious Heaven Skill inherited from the Tang Sect. Although his Blue Silver Grass was dismissed as a waste Martial Soul, he possessed Innate Full Soul Power and a concealed second Martial Soul, the Clear Sky Hammer. 35 39

His path changes after meeting Su Bei at Notting Academy. Su Bei explains that Blue Silver Grass is not inherently worthless, exposes Yu Xiaogang's flawed assumptions, and gives Tang San the Herb Growth potion. The potion visibly strengthens Tang San's Martial Soul and convinces him that Su Bei's knowledge surpasses Yu Xiaogang's. 36 66

Tang San rejects Yu Xiaogang as a prospective master after challenging his reasoning about Twin Martial Souls. He travels to Blue Tyrant Academy, disguises himself as a girl to get past the gatekeeper, and kneels in three kowtows to ask Su Bei to accept him as a disciple. 39 68 69

Tang Hao later reveals that Tang San's mother was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor and that Spirit Hall was involved in her death.
