Background / History

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King, born when the Dragon God divided into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King during the Dragon God War. The Golden Dragon King was slain and sealed in the God Realm, while Gu Yuena escaped to Douluo Continent through spatial power to recover and await revenge against the deities. The gods subsequently sealed Soul Beasts’ path to godhood, making Gu Yuena’s continued existence a dangerous secret. 304

As master of the Soul Beasts, she commands the Seven Great Ferocious Beasts and announces her intent to marry Su Bei, a human, despite their shock and Di Tian’s objections. 7 8 She forcibly marries Su Bei and grants him the authority of King of Ten Thousand Beasts before entering deep sleep to heal her injuries. 16

Her recovery is accelerated after she absorbs the Heart of the Dragon God in Dragon Valley. The artifact responds to her shared origin, transforms her body with nine-colored divine light, and restores her to the god realm. 333 337
