The white light enveloping the battlefield slowly receded.
That terrifying pressure did not weaken in the slightest. Instead, it grew ever stronger, finally gathering around a figure at the heart of the light.
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki slowly emerged from the light.
She wore white robes, her long hair trailing to the ground. A Rinne Sharingan sat on her forehead, while her pure-white Byakugan swept coldly over the battlefield. A halo of primordial chakra surrounded her. Merely standing there made all the chakra between heaven and earth tremble faintly, as though welcoming its master.
The Progenitor of Chakra, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, had fully returned to life.
Black Zetsu emerged behind Kaguya and slowly merged into her body. He bowed, his voice filled with utter reverence and fervor. "Mother, welcome back. All the chakra in this world will return to your hands."
Kaguya did not respond to Black Zetsu. Her gaze swept coldly across the battlefield. She looked at the Allied Shinobi Forces kneeling on the ground, the shattered earth around them, and the enormous tree roots bursting from below. Not a flicker of emotion crossed her face, as though every life before her were nothing more than an ant.
Her gaze finally settled on the only figure on the battlefield who could stand firm beneath her oppressive presence.
Chiya.
Kaguya's Byakugan narrowed slightly, and the tomoe in the Rinne Sharingan on her forehead slowly rotated. She could clearly sense that the power within Chiya did not belong to this world or its chakra system, yet it carried a terrifying aura capable of threatening her.
Kaguya finally spoke. Her voice was cold and indifferent, devoid of any emotion, as though she were merely stating an established fact. It carried clearly across the battlefield.
"Outsider, the power within you does not belong to this world."
