Zhao Xun looked back at Hip-Hop Man and asked, "Where is the Rabbit Prince's spine? Hand it over."
"Here," Hip-Hop Man answered obediently.
He pointed above the curtains.
Zhao Xun looked up and, sure enough, saw a long section of spine stuck to the curtain.
Items related to collaborative missions couldn't be hidden in a Storage Slot. Players certainly wouldn't feel comfortable hiding them too far away, so they could only put them somewhere within sight.
But... there were no ropes holding it up or traces of adhesive tape. It looked as though some player's special ability had fixed the spine firmly to the curtain.
"Deactivate your special ability," Zhao Xun told Hip-Hop Man.
If this was Hip-Hop Man's special ability, he would immediately deactivate its effects while under Hypnosis.
If Hip-Hop Man didn't move, it had to be Crew-Cut Man's special ability.
He could simply hypnotize Crew-Cut Man next.
As soon as Zhao Xun finished speaking, Hip-Hop Man raised his right hand.
"Wait!" Crew-Cut Man suddenly pressed down on Hip-Hop Man's hand. Looking at Zhao Xun, he finally worked up the courage to speak. "What you want is the spine with the gems set into it, right?"
His voice was so low that only he, Hip-Hop Man, and Zhao Xun could hear it.
As he spoke, he kept his eyes fixed on Zhao Xun's face, trying hard to glean something from his expression.
Unfortunately, Zhao Xun wasn't someone who wore his emotions on his face, making it difficult to tell what he was thinking.
Just as he began to hesitate, unsure whether to continue, Zhao Xun gestured for him to go on.
Encouraged, he rushed through the rest in one breath. "Our collaborative mission is to make this sword. On that front, there's no conflict between us and you.
