The Boy on the Throne
The Metaverse Experimental Zone.
Coordinates 34567/47555.
This place is very remote and extremely desolate.
It's likely that no one will survive within a radius of several thousand kilometers.
The Shadow arrived, cutting through the air.
Qin Yiguan stepped out of the cockpit and onto the dark gray rocky ground.
He looked up and saw a huge black cloud in the distance. Its darkness was beyond that of a cloud; it resembled a jet-black liquid, swirling and rotating in the air.
All around this 'liquid' were endless dark clouds, stretching to the horizon, preventing this area from receiving even a sliver of sunlight.
It was cold, damp, and gloomy.
The ground was covered with bare rocks, with almost no soil in sight, let alone any trace of vegetation.
Qin Yiguan walked forward.
I came across a small city.
There was no light in the city, no trace of human activity, all the doors and windows of the buildings were dilapidated, and some buildings had already collapsed.
This is an abandoned city; its inhabitants have all moved away for some unknown reason.
Qin Yiguan entered the city.
look up.
But they discovered that directly above the city was the center of that dark cloud, and the darkest part of the cloud was the city's sky.
Because of the obscuring clouds, Qin Yiguan wasn't worried about seeing the sky.
He squinted.
But within these dark clouds, violent currents of air were seen surging about wildly.
What is that?
Qin Yiguan looked at the sky. There was a hexagonal gap in the dark cloud, which was very peculiar, as if it had been cut out with a mold.
From Qin Yiguan's perspective, the hexagonal gap was no bigger than the palm of his hand, but based on the height of the dark clouds, it was at least 5 kilometers wide.
God's Abandoned said, "Those are hexagonal bubbles. When the air pressure becomes so turbulent that it becomes exaggerated, this natural phenomenon occurs. Its six sides are strong air currents in six directions, with wind speeds reaching hundreds of kilometers per hour. This kind of weather also exists in the Bermuda Triangle in the physical world. In the old days, many airplanes and ships disappeared in the Bermuda, mostly torn apart by these turbulent and violent air bubbles."
Looking at the strange sight, Qin Yiguan said, "So, this place really is exactly like the Bermuda Triangle."
All that could be heard was the voice of the God's Abandoned heavens. "The most mysterious phenomenon in the Bermuda isn't the hexagonal air bubble, but rather #¥%...&!"
Qin Yiguan frowned slightly, knowing that the God's Abandoned System had been interfered with by the invisible magnetic field again.
now.
Suddenly, snowflakes began to fall gently from the sky. These snowflakes were very large; if you picked one up and held it in your palm, you could clearly see the beautiful patterns within it.
Qin Yiguan looked up at the sky again; these snowflakes were coming from those hexagonal air bubbles.
30 seconds later.
The wind direction inside the air bubble seemed to have changed.
The snowflakes turned into a shower of icy rain, drenching Qin Yiguan.
Another 30 seconds passed.
The wind direction inside the air bubble changed again, and a southeasterly wind began to blow from all sides.
A peculiar floral fragrance wafted into Qin Yiguan's nostrils. After searching for a moment, he found a crystal orchid in a crevice in the Shitou to the southeast.
Qin Yiguan looked up at the distant sky and discovered that there was more than one air bubble in this area.
He continued walking, entering the abandoned city.
He was now certain that the mastermind behind "The Breath of the Mute" was hiding in this city.
God's Abandoned added, "A game of such a large scale as * The Breath of the Mute * should have a huge number of server crews. Following this line of thought, #¥%¥...&*!"
Qin Yiguan observed his surroundings.
Following this line of thought, he should be hiding in a huge building, such as a warehouse, a high-rise, or even a large basement.
Scanning the dilapidated buildings around him, Qin Yiguan's gaze shifted from the massive structures. He had a vague feeling that something was amiss.
Qin Yiguan continued walking deeper into the city.
His gaze suddenly stopped.
But then they saw a collapsed building, only half of which had collapsed. The other half was still hanging precariously in the air, and at the top of this half of the building, a complete room remained.
The windows were broken, and there was no one or any light inside the house.
But on one side of the house, a long staircase remains, exposed to the air, diagonally connecting to the ground.
Qin Yiguan suddenly realized that in "The Breath of the Mute," he needed to climb a long staircase to reach the Official Fortress.
As if guided by fate, Qin Yiguan climbed the dilapidated stairs. The moment he took his first step, the stairs swayed slightly, and many pebbles fell from below.
The feeling was as if the stairs could collapse at any moment, and the higher you climbed, the harder you would fall.
But Qin Yiguan was not afraid.
As we climbed step by step, the ice rain turned into snowflakes, and the snowflakes turned back into ice rain.
He finally reached the top of the stairs.
Looking down for a moment, the staircase was about 30 meters high, equivalent to the height of a 10-story building.
The boy in black withdrew his gaze and gently pushed open the wooden door in front of him.
Squeak...
The old hinges rattled loudly, and dust had settled on the door frame; the door looked as if it hadn't been opened for centuries.
The room was very small.
It's only about 10 square meters.
Inside was a rotten wooden wardrobe and a dilapidated bed covered with a layer of moldy weeds. On one side of the floor were scattered fast food packaging.
On the other side of the ground, there was a lot of human excrement.
At the far end of the house sat a human boy.
But he doesn't quite seem human.
He was wearing a tattered plaid shirt that was already rotten, and his black trousers were full of worn holes, with the cuffs reduced to strips of rags.
He had no hair, and his head was shaped like a light bulb, with a circumference five times that of an average person.
His eyes were closed, and because his head was so large, his features seemed to be squeezed together and gathered in the center of his face.
His head was tilted slightly, as if he were sleeping.
The enormous head put unbearable strain on his neck, forcing it into a near 90-degree angle.
Qin Yiguan squinted, "He... could he be that young man on the throne?!"
